They canonically have a daughter through equestrian magic called Rena who has a cursive R cutiemark like Lunatic has a cursive lowercase l cutiemark! Live laugh love lunasand!

Jack and Lunatic finally arrived in Sprucederry Cove.

Jack: "Ah look how beautiful it is here! You will be so busy galopping over these meadows full of flowers, you won't even miss me." Lunatic reared: "How dare you leave me all alone with stranger folks! We don't even know them! They could do anything to me - evil things!"

Jack patted Lunatic's neck: "We have no one else to look after you and I need to go where my heart leads me. A weeklong journey on a small boat just isn't for you, you're better off here. The sweet lady didn't ask much, it's a bargain. You know I can't afford anything else. It's just for a few weeks, hm?" Lunatic: "That other horse is probably a meanie and he'll mob me, therefore it's so cheap. Or - they are going to butcher me and sell my meat! The countryside is no joke for pretty and well-fed animals like me!" Jack: "I'll video call you every day and make sure you're ok, ok? Let's go, they're waiting for us."

And so they went along their way, minding their own business, when the heard yelling. Someone needed help obviously. So Jack and Lunatic followed the distressed voice. It belonegd to a very good looking young man, rummaging in the shrubbery: "Where are you?" A very pretty horse came over from the opposite site: 'Have you still not found him? I've been searching the whole village square and he's nowhere! Do you think something happened to him?' Jack: "Can I help you? I'm very good at finding stuff. Give me somthing with the scent on it and I'll track it down."

The good looking young man introduced himself as Saiwa and gave Jack the blanket of their Little Goat that had gone missing. He just started to transform into his Werewolf shape, because the werewolf muzzle was superior for this task, when Saiwa ran off in fear ö.Ö' Tyalindo: 'Please excuse him, he's no speciesist. It's like some people have arachnophobia for no reason, for example, where he's afraid of wolves.' Jack: "Ah I see. He could try exposure techniques. But first we are going to find your little friend, hm?"

Jack held his muzzle in the air, turned in all directions, sniffing: "Got him. Follow me!" Tyalindo: 'Is he ok?' Jack: "I'm sure of it. No blood, no fear. Actually I can scent our Little Goat in the same distance and direction. They probably just got distracted and are playing with each other. Don't worry." Jack ran ahead and the others followed. It was quite the distance until they found them! Right back to the pond at the village border! Saiwa: "There you are! It's insane how far they run off with those little legs!" Saiwa looked at the wolf and then at the goats. . . "You don't keep goats or track them down to eat them, don't you?" Jack: "Tch, of course not! I don't eat my friends!"

And then, right above them, a rainbow spanned over the village! How beautiful.

Lunatic watched Jack cuddle their Little Goat: 'Want a good hug too?' Tyalindo: 'What do you take me for? Of course not!' Lunatic: 'Your loss. I'll stay here for a few weeks and we'll probably meet often, let's be friends.' Tyalindo looked at the werewolf and the Little Goat. If they could be friends. . . 'Ok, why not' Lunatic: 'Awesome! You won't regret it. We can form a resistance group against the dwellers trying to slaughter us.' Tyalindo already regretted it. . .

Jack thought it'd be better to turn back to his human form, to not scare the sweet old lady who was going to take care of Lunatic as long as he was on his pilgrimage . . . This was so not helpful at all for Saiwa's lycophobia. . .

Outtakes / Behind the Scenes

'I don't eat my friends' is a quote of my child-self. I refused to eat meat since I was able to ask 'Where does meat come from?' and my parents told me humans kill animals to eat them omg. I was so, so shocked. And when we went to the restaurant and the waitresses asked me why I don't wanted meat to my potatoes and vegetables I'd ordered, I told them: 'I don't eat my friends.'

We have a whole #run Jack collection over on the main tumblr, where Jack runs from Saiwa. So it was quite funny to watch it the other way around hahaha Pic below is also another screenshot of them (from this post from January 2024) that I also printed out to pin in front of my treadmill for motivation lol
