Wait Paul is afraid his friendship with Marjan is over? Am I absolutely insane for going 👀 during that section of the longline? We have gotten like zero crumbs of a start of even a hint of ‘something’ between them and maybe I’m delusional but I’m low key rooting for pauljan. Friends to lovers is something that can be so personal. But in all seriousness I’m curious to why he thinks that? Was there something in a log line before this new one that talks about a rift in their friendship? Or is this new info coming from the new longline? If they’re not playing the log slow burn game with the two of them then that’s totally cool I love their friendship of course but a part of me wonders if they will consider it? Because why not you know? It would be cute. But I’m not trying to force it you know? Idk. Paul and Marjan as friends are so nice too I love it. Their dynamic is chefs kiss either way

Yeah, it seems like Paul and Marjan are going to have a rough time. I do think we've gotten some hints (hugs and certain lines about them being really close, but it wasn't necessarily romantic to me, but could def lead to romantic build up). I think Marjan and Paul would be cute together (I still think a lot about Nancy and Marjan but realistically that will never happen lol). They're both smart (we've seen bookworm Paul and then because of her accomplishments, Marjan was put in charge of helping Mateo with his test), they're vibes really work together, and in a lot of ways I can see them balancing each other out (like Paul is more reserved while Marjan more often just dives into things). So, yeah, I could see that happening for sure, especially with the way things are shaping up and like how they've brought them together this season a lot. And Marjan is pretty inexperienced romantically so she might not be seeing things the same way at this point or she might not feel the same way. Who knows!

The blurb they just released didn't necessarily say that Paul thinks their friendship is over it read "the crew is worried that Paul has still not mentally recovered from his surgery and his friendship with Marjan is over," so it sounds like the crew has concerns about it but that doesn't necessarily tell us what Paul is thinking or what Marjan is thinking. There could be some tension between Paul and Marjan that isn't normally there and no one knows what to make of it. Or it could be that a comma was meant to be in front of the and, implying that their friendship is over (temporary of course because there's no way that will last), which could be caused by a lot of things, such as romantic feelings on one side or some kind of blurring of what they are. We know that Marjan does get really angry for some reason, so that could somehow be related. This all might play into the build up of Paul's surgery. There's a lot of threads and we just need to weave things together haha. I think it will be a multiple episode type of thing.

There's just a lot of intriguing stuff going on.
