paula left reid's house late. she had gotten a car from the same comoany she always did-- she didn't like to stay over or overstay her welcome (not that it was ever discussed) and she didn't want to drive late.
everything seemed normal as she opened the door but a split second later someone was jumping her and even though she went on instinct and started defending herself, one of the men managed to grab her long enough to dose her off. the last thing she remembered was breaking someone's hand and kicking someone's shin enough to hear bone break.
none of that mattered when she woke up with what felt like the worst hungover ever and a sharp pain on her side when she breathed and her arm--some of the men were not happy a woman half their size had broken their bones so they broke some of hers while she was unconscious. lovely. she had to be thankful that that is all they had done to her--at least ao far.
one of the men came into the room she was tied in--there was little light and it was dump and smell foul, noises from the pier came through the high broken windows. one of the warehouses. but why had they brought her in? she had money but not that much. Had she pissed someone off getting kids off the streets with her dojo? she had ruffled some feathers with that.
@troublesomemix the thing i owed you!
