Got my fucking 405 squat that I said I was going to get 7 months ago! When I started I could barely do 185 to depth. At my height, squatting has been extremely difficult. I'm starting to find the groove that I've been looking for forever. It's been a long road but I know I have a lot more in me. Luckily I can set goals, even long term ones, and still crush them without quitting or becoming discouraged. I have a ton left in me and I'm gonna work for it way harder than I worked for this. Nowhere to go but up! Between @jimwendler and @liftrunbang I've found everything I needed and put it to work like they do. Thank you guys a ton! maybe wendler #531 #paulcarter #liftrunbang

Paul Carter "Material Thinking"
In contrast with these weak forms of collaboration, creative research, respecting the materiality of thought – its localisation in the act of invention – has a different object. It studies complexity and defends complex systems of communication against over-simplification. It explores the irreducible heterogeneity of cultural identity, the always unfinished process of making ourselves through our symbolic forms. Its success cannot be measured in terms of simplification and closure. Exploring the reinvention of social relations at that place does not produce a ‘discovery’ that can be generalised and patented. It is an imaginative breakthrough, which announces locally different forms of sociability, environmental interactivity and collective storytelling
Randomly stumbled across a perfect interpretation of the piece Sakura Nagashi by Paul Carter.
The sense of hope in the piece is what's keeping me going, telling me everything will eventually be fine....
