Having loads of fun this afternoon spinning some of the gems I discovered in my recent crate digging adventure. ▪︎ This is one such gem: Paul Hardcastle's 19 takes me back. ▪︎ I may have been 8 years old when this was released, but I remember it getting huge airplay; sitting at number 1 on the UK charts for 5 weeks. ▪︎ This is the silver ink injected labels edition released on Chrysalis and it's cleaned up spectacularly. Sounds as fresh as the day it hit the record shop shelves in 1985. ▪︎ The B-Side: 𝘍𝘭𝘺 𝘉𝘺 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, is a slice of 80s synth pop gold.
