Paulina Rubio - Ananda (September 18th, 2006)

On September 18th, 2006, Paulina Rubio released her eighth studio album Ananda, produced by Cachorro López. The album became a major commercial success across Latin America and Europe, even reaching notable popularity in countries like Finland. It quickly established itself as one of the top-selling Mexican albums of the mid-2000s and was recognized as one of the fastest-selling releases of her career at the time.

The album was followed by a hugely successful international tour that ran through 2008, taking her across multiple continents and selling out numerous concerts worldwide. This era reinforced her status as a global Latin pop powerhouse during the 2000s.

Ananda was certified Gold and has sold approximately 4 million copies worldwide, making it one of the most successful albums by a Mexican artist of that decade.
