Crossing the Line- Role Reversal

Thanks to @rares222 for inspiring me to come up with this idea.

(Lady Noire is running off with Pavona and Hudie, Mister Bug is close behind)

Mister Bug: Lady Noire, wait!

Mister Bug: Noire! (Lady Noire stops running, Mister Bug catches up a few feet away. She doesn’t turn to look at him, only clenches her fist)

Mister Bug: This has to stop now. Whatever it is that you're going through, we'll fix it together, me and you. Just like we've always done. (smiles hopefully and almost desperately. Lady Noire’s fist clenches harder, and she turns around angrily)

Lady Noire: No! This has to stop now. This thing where you think that you've been my friend. You don't even hear how you condescend. The way you've always done! (turns towards him, glares harshly and points an accusing finger at him)

Mister Bug: Noire, please, just listen. (walks slowly towards her)

Lady Noire: I'm listening. (holds her head high)

Mister Bug: You know that isn't true.

Lady Noire: Isn't it? (narrows her eyes)

Mister Bug: Just look into my eyes now.

Lady Noire: Well? (glares impatiently)

Mister Bug: I know you feel it too. (Looks desperate)

Lady Noire: Perhaps I do... (Frowns, a little regretful and unsure)

Mister Bug: Noire, please, just listen.

Lady Noire: I'm listening.

Mister Bug: I swear it's not too late. So, before another line gets crossed, and everything we have is lost, just wait. (Moves to put a hand on her shoulder)

Lady Noire: Wait? (looks at him as if she can’t believe what she’s hearing, then glares darkly at him) No, I won't wait! (pushes him away and leaps to a higher rooftop)

Mister Bug: Noire! (Runs after her, struggling to keep up)

Lady Noire: There's a line between the winners and the losers. There's a line between the chosen and the rest. (Walking slowly)

And I've done the best I could, but I've always known just where we stood. 

Me here with the luckless, you there with the blessed. (looks down sadly, then turns to Mister Bug, point an accusatory finger and glaring mockingly) And that line between the beggars and the choosers is a line you never let me quite ignore. (Keeps walking)

How I've tried to jump that great divide. But I never got the chances you were given. You don't know how much I've been denied! (Glances Mister Bug’s way and glares. Leaps from rooftop to rooftop, catching up to Pavona and Hudie who are waiting patiently)

Well, I'm not being patient anymore! I'm crossing the line! And I'm done holding back! So look out, clear the track, it's my turn! I'm taking what's mine! Every drop, every smidge! If I'm burning a bridge, let it burn! But I'm crossing the line! (The trio smile at each other and begin leaping over the rooftops together. Lady Noire smiles widely and looks confident enough to take on the world. Mister Bug finally catches up to them.)

And for us, if we're over that's fine! Cataclysm! (turns to Mister Bug and glares menacingly, then raises her fist)

Mister Bug: Lady Noire, wait! (reaches out for her, near tears)

Lady Noire: I'm crossing the line. (pounds fist into the ground. The roof caves in so far that Mister Bug can’t reach her. He stares in her direction. She simply glares, turns away and follows her new teammates. Mister Bug drops to his knees in shock, starting to cry.)

How would Backwarder work in the role reversal au?

Adrien panicks and vents to Tikki about how Luka and Marinette are headding out of town for the weekend

The stuff with Marianne and Master Fu plays out similar to canon

The Dupain cheng family all transforms in the bathroom together. Hudie stays behind while Pavona and Lady Noire go out to assist Backwarder.

Instead of Lady Noire, it’s Queen Bee, Rena Rouge, and Carapace that help with Backwarder

Marinette gets the constipation letter, and gives Adrien the medicine. To say he’s mortified is an understatement.

It gets even worse when Gabriel says “Wait, is it that bug you got when you were 6? Did it come back?”

Loveater in role reversal?

Adrien gives up pursuing Marinette to let her be with Luka. Or maybe Kagami, haven’t decided yet. Jade Turtle vs Lady Noire, Pavona, and Hudie. That reminds me, I’m tempted to make a choice about Kagami in this AU.

How would Puppeteer 2 go down in the role reversal au

Alya and Nino are watching Manon instead.

Adrien gets Nino and Alya to try to convince Marinette to come to the museum with them, but she refuses. 

She says she has to help her mom out, which is technically the truth.

Alya starts to call her out on not wanting to hang out with anyone anymore, but Marinette hangs up.

When they tell Adrien she isn’t coming, he’s heartbroken cause he thinks she hates him.

Hudie senses they might be able to akumatize Manon again, so she sends Pavona and Lady Noire to the museum.

Lady Noire comes upon the Heroes Exhibit and is a little surprised to find her sculpture is still there, right beside Mister Bug

She notices how happy with each other they both look. She reminisces about their partnership and begins to wonder if she made the right choice switching sides

Once Adrien’s done with his sculpture, he wanders around the museum, being sad and depressed. Lady Noire hears him entering the Heroes Exhibit, and in a panic, kicks the sculpture away and stands in its place so she doesn’t get caught.

He sees Lady Noire and, thinking it’s a sculpture, verbally reminisces on his partnership with her. He talks about how much he misses her, how he’s torn between her and Marinette. “I  realized too late what you were to me, Noire. What you still are to me. I feel like a scumbag, loving both you and Marinette. Is it even possible to love two girls at once? Knowing they’ll never love you?” then he says something else (fuzzy on that bit) and kisses her then walks out, muttering “stupid”.

To say Lady Noire is shocked is an understatement. It makes fighting Mister Bug later on very hard for her. 

The fight plays out similar to canon.

The episode ends with Marinette confronting Plagg and asking if he knew all along that Adrien was Mister Bug. He admits he did.
