WORLDS ANGSTIEST FNAF SUN/MOON X READER AU BREAKDOWN:
Welcome to the synopsis of, the pawn au, OR,
the house always wins

So in this AU the reader is actually just. A really ordinary person. They work as a florist. They spend weekends watching movies mostly on their own bc they don’t have a lot of friends. They’re pretty lonely overall but they try rlly hard to be a nice person. They don’t even know that their Uncle- the man who raised them- is like. The Head Dude of a huge infamous criminal organization
So one day it slips out to police that Uncle Mafia Guy has this one person he’s closer to than anyone else, and he’s been heard on multiple occasions calling them ‘the closest thing he has to an heir’
So the cops are all like 👁👁👀👀👁👀👁👁👀👀👁👀👁👀👁👁👁 at reader bc Oh My God they must know so much but they’re young and inexperienced so maybe they can catch THEM slipping up in the way the Uncle never has
So Sun and Moon are sent first to see if they can see them doing anything they can arrest them for, but the worst thing Reader does is leave food out for the stray cats of the area but instead they attract raccoons
So the cops are like. Maybe they don’t show it on their PUBLIC LIFE. mAybe,, we gotta get up in their PERSONAL life
So Sun and Moon are sent in AGAIN but this time to try n get close enough to Reader to maybe catch them slipping up enough to get valuable info
(Sun and Moon are extremely bothered and morally object to this idea, but the longer Uncle Guy is out there running his Business, the more horrible things are happening in the world, and this is the CLOSEST THING they’ve gotten to a lead in like MONTHS)
At the same time,,,,,,
Eclipse is out there. Doing OTHER Crime Boss stuff. And his biggest threat/rival is Uncle Guy and HIS business
And HE ALSO hears abt Reader and their relationship w Uncle Guy
And he’s like 👁〰️👁
So. He first tries to spy on them, gets impatient, then says “fuck it I’ll do it myself” and waltzes into Reader’s life all uwo well hello there style
So. All THREE of these idiots. Are trying to fool the reader into being comfortable enough to tell them Everything
I But Reader is just like??? Wow so many cool ppl are hanging out around me lately! WOW THEY WANNA BE MY FRIENDS!! WOWOWOOW THEYRE ARE ALL SO NICE AND THEY LIKE KNOWING ABT MY INTERESTS AND HOBBIES AND *ME*
And idiot trips and falls hard for these idiots

And at FIRST THEYRE ALL LIKE “OH NO”
“THIS COMPROMISES EVERYTHING” think Sun and Moon
But then Eclipse is like “oh yes ;3” and starts swooning Reader even HARDER

So reader is like DIZZY AND CONFUSED AND FULL OF BUTTERFLIES BC OF ALL THIS ATTENTION FROM THESE THREE HIMBOS
And then. The truth slips :)
And Reader takes it fuckign HORRIBLY. Like they TRUSTED THEM. They told them about their WORST MOMENTS and the things they’ll NEVER FORGET. They told them about all their favorite things, about their dreams and their fears and their wishes. And they wanted to maybe make a future WITH these guys. Did they ever even like them at all???
So they feel broken, distraught, and extremely betrayed.
And then. :) Uncle Crimeboss shows up
the Uncle is William Afton mcfuckface. And Reader isn’t even related to him. He killed their family in a house fire and they were the only one to escape.
Reader’s Dad worked for Afton and Afton was cleaning up a mess that he wasn’t going to let happen.
He knew he couldn’t just snuff Reader, who had escaped the fire, without it looking extremely sketchy. So he adopted them! As the best friend of their dad, he felt it only right
And this whole thing with Sun and Moon and Eclipse?? AFTON was the one that leaked the information about Reader being his ‘heir’. Then he sat back and waited for everyone else to make their move
It went wonderfully! Even better than planned! Bc now he can use this Huge Fucking Mess to manipulate Reader hardcore. Bc now he can use this Huge Fucking Mess to manipulate Reader hardcore, and sculpt them into being the perfect successor
And Reader is stuck in the middle. An unknowing pawn in a game they didn’t even realize was happening.
On one hand. Afton is like. The only person that’s ever been consistent in their life. They’ve been raised by him. He’s only ever played the ‘kind father’ part. So when he comes to their rescue RIGHT AS EVERYTHING IS FALLING APART, and says “see? The world only wants to control you and twist what you know is true into fiction. But I won’t let anyone hurt you here”
Of course they WANT to believe him
But. When you have been really and truly betrayed and made such a fool of. You start to really notice the Signs.
They know the truth now. And there’s nothing they can do to forgive and forget.
