Blue Day with Bluebell

Alt title Doggy Downtime :) This attack is for @ashers2dust of his Delta Green PC Marisol and her ESA Bluebell.

Freehanded with a Tombow Fudenosuke (in 30 minutes!), coloured with Tombow Dual-Brush Pens except I slapped a blue colour layer over everything on Clip Studio Paint because I like it better this way.

Owl-Eyed Alma

Attack for RainbowBatman of a younger Alma, before someone in her mercenary guild The Owls took her eye out in a sparring match.

This is my first time using colour pencils in over a decade. I forgot how much carpal tunnel they induce, but at least they're much kinder to freehand with since I can erase their lines! I used a Tombow for her cloak though because my poor forearm...

The Black Maw of Envy

Attack for @mythicandco of Tacenda. He looks like a feathered/fluffy dragon, so I took inspiration from feathered dinosaurs and how ancient Chinese paintings depict clouds. 

Freehanded with a Tombow Fudenosuke, coloured with Tombow Dual-Brush Pens and Clip Studio Paint.

Raven Princess

Attack for Kindler_arts of their character, Cally, an exiled princess turned pirate who has a raven companion called Emi. She's going to be part of Kindler's comic project "A Monster's Soul". You can find updates for it here!

Second pic's the original scan. Third pic's the lines which I fully freehanded. I'm pretty happy that my freehanding practice is paying off!

Don't know what to do, 'cause I still wanna hang with you whenever I could! Sibling Rivalry - PUP

Happy Sibling Day!! (I know it was 2 days ago but I forgot to post it here...) These three Vorobyev siblings are from my writing and comic fusion project @sparrow-flight. It's about their wrongly imprisoned dad returning home after 10 years. They try to bond with each other through their family traumas while coping with how their dad is now a hired mercenary who can die at any time.

I've wanted to do this for YEARS. I had to wait for Sibling Day to come during a time when I was actually had time to animate. This song by PUP is one of my favourite for sentimental reasons, so I'm very happy I finally got to make this animation! (Yall should check out their original music video, it's also a stop motion animation that's very cool)

The rebel eventually lowered his hand from Morozov’s mouth. But he still held him against the shack’s wall: the rebel’s hand had drifted downwards to firmly press against Morosov’s chest. Morozov gasped lightly. He reddened. The rebel didn’t notice. He also didn’t notice the softness beneath his hand, the quickening heart against his touch, or how, despite looking away to search for soldiers, his face was drawing closer and closer to Morozov’s. All Morozov had to do was lean forward and…

Excerpt from here, aka the start of @sparrow-flight's historical war romance arc :) I first came up with these two's meet-cute all the way back in 2023! Can you believe it? I think this is the first redraw I've ever done too, even though it wasn't meant to be one. I just wanted to draw this for the story.
