The Patreon Mafia/Cowbuild Gate/Tracking/Doxxing Summary and Links
We're seeing a lot of people confused or just catching up about the situation so here are some helpful links:
The rundown is some big creators like Cowbuild, Bergdorf, Hermajesty Builds, and Anto, Bursa and more had a list of their's leaked where they were looking at and exchanging private information of suspected leakers. In violation of Patreon TOS, EU law & UK Law privacy laws.
Anto has since apologized and confirmed the existence of this list and that some members of this group were tracking their cc. His apology has been deleted.
The methods used to track is the warehouse tab in sims file share, baking user info into blender files and by monitoring download links. This is why so many permanent paywallers make their patrons beg for links, so they can track each piece of cc.
Last week we also released a post that documented more information that Cowbuild has been committing Copyright Infringement and Intellectual property theft, this has been confirmed by one furniture brand. Thats all for now.

Why don’t some of these CC creators just go to Second Life or Daz3D to make money, like geez. Daz3D brings in money and can be a stable career or extra income.

Okay after seeing everything thats going on i dont quite understand. Skyrim,fall out exedra all have people who make mods but dont charge for them ever and they dont have any issues yet with sims people seem to think they can make a career out of it? Theres so much wrong with that. First of all its someone elses game so career off of it isnt gonna work unless the creators themselves hire you. Secondly modding should only be a side thing with 2 week early access at most because alot of people cant afford to pay your prices because ether they are having a hard time getting a job,living pay check to pay check and never have much money left for themselves, make barley. any money at all or just cant work because of disabilities and creators with the months of early access or the perma walls are just taking advantage of those people and only seem them as a source of income so like a business. Consumer relationship no care for the consumer at all. EA doesnt have the time to hunt down and punish every single dang creator who is breaking there rules thats why they did what they did because it was easier and less time consuming. yes alot of people are happy that perma pay walls will be stopped and early access shortened to two weeks but whats wrong with that? If it makes you angry as a creator that probably means your a greedy person who only wants us for our money. So to all the creators bitching fuck you if people can make mods for other games and even this one and not care about being paid you can too. This isnt something you can make a full time career out of so you screwed yourselves not us. You made the decision to do long early acess or perma pay walls, you made the decision to mod and be greedy. We never forced you to do anything it was all your decisions. Lastly stop bitching that niw you will have no source of income and its all our faults and get an actual fucking job!!! Dont base your life off this stuff and you wouldnt. Be having these issues. now if you cant work cuz of disabilities and thats why this is your main source of income i understand that otherwise yall can shush get an actual job like everyone else. Again IF MANY OTHER GAMES CAN MOD WITH OUT BEING EVER PAID AND HAVE NO ISSUES YOU CAN TOO DAMMIT!!!
I'm sorry but after all of this paywall commotion and stuff, it's showing not only the cc creators true colors, but also the community's true colors. There is absolutely no excuse for harassing people. Like we are literally feuding rn 🤧 I cannot tell you how much I dislike this community sometimes. There are so many wonderful people in it, but c'mon guys.
