The little girl and mom who came to build a bear the other day and told me that they were happy that her daughter wasnt upset about not getting into build a bear the pay your age day. Also the mom who said she didnt care they didnt get the pay your age price and were happy to get the coupon.
They came in yesterday when it was dead and I gave them an extra super special heart ceremony cause they were so nice and asked me if I was okay after it ♡
Pay Your Age is still hell
Let me just tell you, I work at build a bear and still we get nasty customers now. Either complaining they should get the pay your age price, complainin about the coupon or just now complaining that if they got the coupon for the 15$ off that they can only use it on one bear.
I even get parents comaplaininng to me about the lines and the day of the event and legit will get in a fight with me saying "well it should have been better planned out, why did you close" or "I don't understand why we cant get the pay your age price"
It has honestly been not only putting down staff but legit been making my fellow coworkers upset.
We had a lady legit come in go up to my manger and say how it was her fault. Like no one else but hers she almost cried cause she legit couldn't do anything and she felt awful.
I think the worst part is it pisses me off, you can blame someone who just works here saying it's there fault. Like they have there own problems that dont evolve work and you fucking think it's only to blame one person for a company's wrong doing/planning.
Some people are so fucking rude. Like sorry you couldn't get your bear for $2 it's not the end of the world .

So how are you spending your morning today. We are here at the Wolfchase Galleria for the #PayYourAge event at Build a Bear. Got here at 9:20 AM Central. Lots of people turned up. Hot as heck with so many in a confined spot. Feels like we are making good time though.
