PLAYING PBS KIDS GAMES TO RAISE MONEY FOR PBS
Look what I found!

I was browsing YouTube a few weeks ago and I remembered an old game I used to play years ago on PBS. Ekocreature, or so I think it was called? So searching it on YouTube, I eventually came across eekoworld, an old kid's game I used to play. The videos are quite recent, and I looked in the comments and found the link you see above. Thank god for Ruffle, it still works on the Wayback Machine. There are two parts to it, and what I remembered playing was the creature creator, the part of the site where you could make your very own creature. It still works, and I managed to make my own creature:
This is what we used to play before we had spore (and art skills). I actually do remember trying to make my form in there, but I didn't have enough coins to afford better parts, and I didn't want to play all the way to the end to get better parts. I don't know if you get it, but eekoworld has a weird vibe... the lack of background music and grating voices put me off, even as a child.
Still, it's a nice blast from the past, and fun to play for an hour or two. I don't think it saves your progress however... I do wish I could play as a dragon.
I hope you know that when you're mean to me, this is who you're being mean to
