i tried loading up my pc yesterday just to see what would happen. (last time i tried using it it overheated and shut down as soon as i turned it on, but that was summer)
since its cold outside, i thought maaaaybe it would run ok and not shut down immediately.
well....it loaded up ok, it updated everything and was running pretty decently for almost 2 hours. i had unfortunately gotten my hopes up at this point, and say 'hey lets see if it will run the sims!'
it took ages to update, and it loaded up just fine. no overheating all looks good. so i go to a neighborhood and select a lot to live in, and then it happens.
that high pitched whirrring. the temp jumps up to 80. so i had to hurry and shut everything down before the whole thing crashed on me.
i dunno why i thought it would just be magically fixed. computers cant heal themselves
