New Computer

So I bought a new computer last night, installed WoW (of course) as soon as I got it. I was able to mess around a little on WoW while it still finished downloading, needless to say I was impressed with the graphic capabilities the computer had for World of Warcraft. Besides the fact that my desktop computer is considered a dinosaur and was making weird funny noises... I got this computer so I could enjoy WoW more and when I saw the graphics my jaw slightly dropped. I mean this computer is just really basic, it's a Sony VAIO laptop. It's a newer model but still pretty basic even for Sony, it only ran me $500.00 at Walmart. 

I don't have much planned for the next couple of days with WoW only because some family is coming into town and I'm going to have the prepare the house for company. I'm sure I'll run some battlegrounds/arenas with friends tonight though, or level my shaman I'm not certain. 

Aside from my Warcrafting, I cannot wait until Diablo 3 comes out. Most of the people I play world of Warcraft with signed up with the annual pass commitment plan w/ World of Warcraft. The commitment is basically agreeing to paying for 12 months of World of Warcraft and you get Diablo 3 for free, also some in-game World of Warcraft mount and a guarantee to get into the Mists of Pandaria expansion beta (that is the 4th expansion to World of Warcraft). I personally have a commitment issue when it comes to that long of a commitment with a video game. I'm sure a lot of kids signed up with it because they don't have to pay for it but I am not a child and I don't have someone I rely on to pay things for me so if for some reason I can't get $15.00 because some random bill popped up I don't want to get my account of 5 1/2 years banned. I would just rather pay for Diablo 3 when it comes out. I understand why Blizzard Entertainment would come out with the commitment thought, can you imagine losing millions of players that pay $15.00 a month because they got bored in between expansions? My pocket already hurts losing $15.00 of my own money but thinking of the billions of potential dollars I would be losing if I were them scares even me. I mean Blizzard has lost a lot of people because of the way the approached this expansion (meaning Cataclysm), it hasn't been out quite a year yet and already it is ending. There were 3 raids when the game first came out and that was BWD (Blackwing Descent), Tot4W (Throne of the Four Winds) and BoT (Bastion of Twilight). For a fairly long time those were the only raids we could do, heroics were so hard in the beginning that people would just rage-quit because the pre heroic gear just wasn't cutting it and forget doing PuGs for raids. Then randomly they release a patch for Zandalari heroics (Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub) that gave us lower epics than raids but stepped up the pos blues from regular heroics. Next came Firelands... I almost want to say don't even get me started on Firelands but you know the ball is already rolling and I feel I might as well. What the hell Blizzard? Why couldn't you have emphisized more on Azshara? I personally hated doing the Vashj'ir but I am a lore junky and you just kinda took away my crack by doing NOTHING with the Abyssal Maw. It would have extended the period so you could release Firelands at a later date to reduce the "blackout" period between expansion packs. Instead you trashed the Abyssal Maw and threw Ragnaros at us only for us to K.O. Deathwing? The guy that's supposed to just like LOOK in our general direction and pwn us. That's retarted. Jus' sayin.
