Updates:

Just wanted to post a quick update so people didn’t think I forgot!

I am trying to acquire time to update the new website and start reviving the community “hubs” and creating new ones. I just need to review the surveys (there were again a lot of them! Which is great news but does mean more reading on my part!) and see what direction makes the most sense.

Also, given the popular holiday season that happens this time of the year for most people regardless of affinity with Christianity... I’m aiming for January to get everything done and publicized. That way PCC isn’t lost in the chaos that is American Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve. 

So that’s just an update! I may get excited and unveil things sooner than January, but for now that’s the tentative day for Things to Happen.

PCC Update - 1.17.2015

The Polytheist Community Forum is going very well with thanks to caoin-ar-na-realtai, themodernsouthernpagan, and saint-felicity! We are going to be looking for others to help moderate different boards next week, and with any luck, will start opening the forum to the public shortly there after!

In more Polytheist Community Center news, I'm getting close to taking a class for Not-for-Profit Business Management which will be the start of my degree. Not only will this degree serve to help me understand the financial, logistics, and legality behind what I seek to do, but it'll be a great thing to show people so they can trust me with large sums of cash (whether it be banks, grants, or people like you!) 

In even small news, I am tracking down books at the library to read in the interim of being able to purchase them myself so that I can expand my knowledge beyond my polytheist beliefs and its history. I have also been finding books, articles, and such that pertain to polytheistic theology and mythology. Very exciting! 

Things are getting set in motion and it's very exciting!

PCC Update - 1.1.2015

Happy New Year!

I got theology on the miiind.

I started reading a new book on just polytheistic theology, and while it is irksome in some editorial ways (why would you talk about a concept you haven't explained until chapter 9 as though I, the reader, have on chapter 1?), it has definitely got my brain wheels turning. I'll probably have some write-ups in the upcoming weeks.

Also, it inspired what I'm going to write up next for Recovering Monotheists. Though I apologize for missing weeks in a row. I'm having a sort of writers block where I don't know what to discuss next... Hopefully fixed, though.
