I wish I could retake it bc I hate how I look but omg. Jared was such a sweetheart. I brought in a photo that I drew from 7 years ago. When I walked up he called me “darlin” and my brain short circuited just bc he was actually speaking to me. He asked me about it. It’s definitely not a good photo by any means but I kept it thinking maybe someday I’d meet him. I told him AKF has helped me through some of my darkest times. Then I went in my way.
When I went through for my photo I brought my son in (who was passed out 😭). He asked if he could hug me to which I told him of course. I thanked him and as I was leaving he pointed at my boy and said “Like a light”.
I wish I had taken another minute to speak to him but I felt rushed and he looked tired. It was so fun to meet him and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. He was so sweet and I’d love to meet him again.
