     AS @pcplarstreet​ & I PLOTTED OUT FOREVER AGO, Salvatore kills Benny’s dad. He had no idea that Benny ( who was very young at this time ) was in the building until everything was done. The guilt instantly started gnawing at Sal, because he could still visualize the kid’s face - and as a result, he ( and his aunt ) befriended Benny’s mother. As a result, he also took Benny under his wing. Gave him crispy twenty dollar bills, took him out to get ice cream, if Sal was doing anything good and kid-friendly Benny was included.        Delores easily went from thinking it was nice to, they’re too close. This is his illegitimate son because Sal wasn’t willing to explain the actual situation to her. When she confronted him with questions one late night, Sal chose to explain it as being Benny has no dad, he has no dad, he ‘saw himself’ in the kid.

Sinister. That was really the only way to truly describe the relationship between Rory and Jackson, and yet.. Somehow it was something that Rory could never really see, or perhaps he simply ignored it. Desperation? Loneliness.. Or perhaps his heart really was too blind to how evil men could really be. Rory’s heart fluttered when his phone lights up to tell him he had a new text from Jackson. It was always the same back and forth; ultimately meaningless. Had Rory ever let Warin read his phone.. Warin probably would have already gone out to give Jackson a beating of some kind. But that was not the case, and ultimately.. Rory hadn’t really told anyone about his relationship with the talented singer.

A simple request, right? An easy task for someone as talented as Jackson, and Rory would be lying if he didn’t melt a little at being serenaded (he could play music, but he was no singer himself). And of course, Jackson obliges, why wouldn’t he? A siren always sings to keep their prey close by. Though it was a bit of a hassle. There was other shit he could be doing than regaling one of his throwaway lovers. 

Regardless, Jackson eventually sends Rory a song he had saved on his phone.. It’s probably a few months old, and the amount of people he’s sent it to is.. Well, it didn’t matter. All that mattered was that it sated Rory’s desire for more of him.. And it did. Rory would end up listening to that song for the rest of his evening until he finally falls asleep.

🌻 I notice that whenever multitudes do give in and add POC muses, specifically Latina and black female muses, they tend to add them into these oversexualized roles where they’re always “bitches” who fit into the provocative trope whose whole purpose is to just be shipped with other people. Which, there’s nothing wrong with these provocative type muses...it’s just in situations like what I mentioned when you just have to side-eye the mun a little.

🌻 ALSO, there’s not many of them on the dash so no one really talks about this, BUT THE FETISHIZATION OF BLACK MEN IN THE RPC IS SO WEIRD. And no tea, no shade, no pink lemonade, but it’s mostly white muns and muses who want them to fit into this perfect, idk how to word it, where they’re this macho man for their muse and just oh so dangerous and always ready to cater to their muses. That’s why when I write muses like Wendell or Vincent I make sure you know that they’re toxic and are not trophy husbands for your muses to parade around like they own them!!
