Happy birthday, Phoenix Down!

Have you checked the calendar, kupo?  Today is a very special day, for Phoenix Down is turning one!  All the memories and friends we've made!  Ku-po!

To celebrate this very special day, all members are cordially invited to come celebrate at the Fluffy Pom-Pom, Moogletown's very own tavern, kupo!  Lebreau will be serving food and drinks for no gil, only your smiles, as long as the party lasts!  Let's party all week, kupo!

I'm going to start regular activity checks again next week, but in the meantime, I need to ask you guys two small favours since there isn't a warning list this week:

First of all, we're going to have our second High School AU Week soon!  However, I wasn't comfortable with deciding on a particular week myself before starting teacher sign-ups, so I want you guys to tell me when would be the best time for you so that as much people as possible can participate!  I'll compile your answers and see when is the best moment to have it happen, and then you can expect a post with all the details!

Second of all, I'll be making a promo post to have running around the fandom to get new members, and it would really help if you guys would reblog it to your non-PD followers (either on your RP accounts or your personals)!  After that, don't forget, we'll have another special event coming up after High School Week!

Narrative pairing event update

Hey guys!  As there are only two days left to sign up for the narrative pairing event, I want to make a small update.  Here is the list of characters we have so far:

Some of these are secondary accounts to characters already signed up, so it'd be great if we had a few more people to make sure the pairings are diverse!  Also, if you've sent a message but are not on the list, it means we haven't gotten anything, which wouldn't be surprising with Tumblr's history of eating asks.  Basically, if you send a message and don't receive an answer from me within ~12 hours, please try to hit me up!

PD Event: Narrative pairing

Lebreau here!  I've just received a message from Mog, Moogletown's resident moogle:

Big trouble, kupo! I've been trying to send out winter wishes cards to all my friends, but our trusty Mognet is paralyzed! Kupopo...I don't want my friends to be disappointed, so please help me send them out! Since there are moogles all around the worlds, it would be better to go with a partner so you don't get lost or attacked by monsters. I can set you up, kupo! But I'm busy now, Lebreau's food is delicious... Kupo!

Though this is a time of crisis for all the fluffy users of Mognet, it can be a great opportunity to get to know and roleplay with someone new! Here are a few clearer guidelines than what Mog has indicated:

All members of Phoenix Down may now sign up their character to be a part of this randomized pairing of partners for a narrative. There is no limit, so please participate in great number!

Sign-ups can be made by simply dropping your character's name either in the masterlist's or Lebreau's inboxes.

When all applicants to help Mog have given their names, I will put them in a hat and randomly take out two names at a time. This will determine who you've been partnered up with to take care of the mission to deliver one of Mog's holiday cards. 

If you have more than one character, you may sign up as many as you'd like. For example, Lebreaumun also roleplays King and Al-Cid; she may choose to sign up all three, or just one of them, or only two. Participation is not mandatory, so she can also choose not to sign up all her characters. (IMPORTANT: If you sign up more than one character, PLEASE INDICATE THAT YOU ROLEPLAY BOTH, OR ALL THREE. This is to make sure your partner is another roleplayer and that you aren't set up with one of your characters, which would be quite unfortunate.)

You have until December 23rd, 11:59 EST to sign up. On the 24th, I will reveal the list of partners, along with a destination to bring one of Mog's letters to. From this point on, just have fun with your new partner!

Since this is very close to the holidays, you don't have to start now if you're busy with real life. However, please be considerate and communicate with your partner to work out any details!

I'm hoping to see many of you volunteering to help Mog. He eats a lot when he's nervous...!

ANYWAYS. HERE'S THE FIRST REQUEST FROM A STUDENT NAMED...SEIFER.

As you stand in front of the grand hall in town where Prom is being held, you look up and notice the dangling lights, glittering as hang above your head and all around the building. You open the door, and light piano music plays. Tables are set up all towards the front, draped with a soft white tablecloth, a tall, red, crystal candle holder as the center piece, casting soft shadows around it. You hear a quiet tinkle, and look up again- String crystal lights starting from all around the building congregate at the center of the hall. They connect to a giant crystal chandelier, which provides an ambient glow. To the far left of the hall are buffet tables, currently which have some hors d'oeuvres laid out and a large, crystal bowl of punch (which looks safe... for now.)

So take a seat, and welcome to...
