okay i know kageyama is TREMENDOUSLY awkward and i love the idea of him being super embarrassed of pda and barely being able to hold hinata’s hand in public (as is very common in fanon, and i LOVE it) BUT consider:

kageyama’s social ineptitude = complete lack of understanding of boundaries =

- kageyama holding hinata’s hand constantly, and at very inconvenient times - like when they’re getting water during a match, when they’re eating, when they’re changing in the locker rooms

- hinata’s having a conversation with tanaka or suga, and kageyama just comes up behind him and p l a s t e r s himself to hinata’s back, chin on hinata’s shoulder, arms around hinata’s waist, without so much as a word

- hinata being in the middle of a sentence or jumping around excitedly and kageyama just snatches him out of the air and shoves his tongue down hinata’s throat (much to the dismay of literally everyone in the vicinity)
