You recently reminded us that Ash's Lucario, Rosemary, and his Cinderace, Zophia, get married at some point between Galar and Paldea.

So... how'd things start between those two?

To be totally honest, I haven't put that down to the details in writing yet! But I can imagine Rosemary attending the Leon battle at the end of the Galar League season and witnessing her in action!

I can imagine Rosa meeting up with the team before the match, sizing Zophia up, and deciding she likes what she sees.

She's real smooth by that point; real confident. I can see her hopping up on a locker room bench — she's shorter — and cupping Zo's lil round-ass rabbit chin with her paw and whispering in her ear.

"Bet you'd look real good standing over Leon's Charizard after beating him up~."

It's enough to make the poor lesbian rabbit bluescreen - nevermind how red she is - but she stutters out her agreement before regaining her fire and proclaiming that she would WIN. And she has just a little bit extra motivation walking into Ash vs Leon.

Like, it's very possible Rosemary's rizz won Ash the Championship.

Of course, after a grueling full battle, Ash and Zophia do come out on top! After both Pokémon use up their Gigantamax, they have a fight to the finish in their normal states where Zophia perseveres!

She's so high on her victory that she flips their roles and scoops up Rosa and snog her on the muzzle! So, they're a thing from then on.

They didn't even really get to talk much during this short period; it was attraction at first sight. They started dating seriously afterwards; particularly when Ash returned home from Galar, so they'd live together. This continued until they decided they wanted their own lives outside their trainer's sphere, and decided on their careers together.
