Let us go out to the communities not only to serve, but to make our chapter a good role model. Going to communities and learning to be sensitive to their needs, to be their voice, to be their link and to empower & guide them in achieving the solutions to their needs. To be a part of a community and improving it to be a healthier one that is more aware, environmentally conscious and socially involved. And lastly, let us step out of our clinics to enjoy and treat ourselves. We are so focused to invest and advance our practices to prepare for a brighter tomorrow, that we sometimes overlook the “present” that it is our gifts to enjoy. Consider our chapter as a present too, a gift where we can enjoy activities together, gain friendships, and have experiences that will be worth it every time we are outside the clinic. It is a big honor yet an enormous responsibility to be President of a chapter like Mandaue, a chapter though small but filled with a variety of personalities, priorities and programs. With these, I am challenging and letting myself go to be of service, in the same way, lead to unify and motivate all members to go out of our clinics to make our chapter greater and making our selves better.
