Rule 1: Always post the rules Rule 2: Answer the question the tagger has set for you in their posts, and make 10 new ones. Rule 3: Tag 10 people and link them in your post Rule 4: Let them know you tagged them 1.) What's your favorite tv show and why? The Office (US version) is definitely my favorite by a long shot. It's one of those shows that is hysterically funny, but will also get you super emotionally attached. The characters are pure gold. Every one of them is not only hilarious, but also really unique. The relationships between the characters however, is what makes The Office stand out the most. The relationships are bizarre and funny at times while at other times being heart warming (or heartbreaking). The writing is absolutely brilliant. This is the most quotable show on the planet I swear to you. Supernatural may have a gif for everything, but the office has a quote for everything. And lastly, I must mention my lovely OTP Jim and Pam who are the most adorable on screen couple ever. Their relationship will make you laugh and cry, and drives most of the beginning of the show. Sorry for the rant, but I don't give this show as much tumblr coverage as it deserves. If you haven't watched it, DO IT NOW. You will not be sorry. 2.) In which country do you live? The USA! 3.)Who's your least favorite fictional character and why? The character I despise most is probably a tie between Axel Mortmain and Bellatrix Lestrange. However, both are great villains. 4.) It you could live in one fictional world from a book/movie/..., which one would you choose? I think I would choose Narnia. It is very magical, but in a nice, lovely type of way. There is a lot of adventure in Narnia, but there is a real kind of fairy tale feeling about the world. Other front runners include the shadowhunter world, wizarding world, and Atlantica (the little mermaid). However, the shadowhunter and wizarding world are too brutal for my tastes (I am such a baby I would probably die in like 5 seconds) and I figure my fear of deep water would make being a mermaid an unpleasant experience. 5.) Which book do you remember from your childhood. Island of the Blue Dolphins is the first thing that comes to mind. It was the first book that I really, truly loved. I read it three times in second grade alone. I also really loved Julie of the Wolves, The Witches, and Hatchet. I had a strange thing for child gets stranded in the wild and has to learn to survive by themselves stories when I was young. 6.) Which fictional characters do you miss? **massive spoilers for Infernal Devices and Downton Abbey below** In terms of characters that are dead, Will Herondale and Mathew Crawley. Will's death shattered my heart in a way I didn't think possible by a fictional character. I was an emotional wreck for days after his death. Mathew's death made me more angry than anything, and Downton Abbey has really gone downhill a lot since he was killed off. 7.) What is your favorite scene of your OTP? I have two OTPs, Jim and Pam from The Office, and Will and Tessa from Infernal Devices. Firstly, Jim and Pam. Their best scenes are mostly is season two. My fav scenes are in casino night, first when Jim tells Pam how he feels, then when they kiss. I always cry through Jim's confession because it is so heartfelt and desperate. You cannot help but feel TERRIBLE for him. The scene after is also great because it is not only a what everyone had been waiting for for two seasons, but also a reaffirmation of hope and a massive cliffhanger. I just remembered the scene in the episode The Dundies as well when Jim is just standing in the dark, empty parking lot as Pam's car drives away. The song Tiny Dancer by Elton John (one of my fav songs) plays in the background, and at that moment, you feel like your heart will explode. The moment of charged silence between Jim and Pam when they are on the boat in the episode Booze Cruise is also great. My favorite Will and Tessa scene is the proposal. It was so incredibly sweet, and the way he did it was perfect. This was a moment of much appreciated levity in an extremely heartbreaking book. 8.) What's your favorite movie and why? There's Something About Mary. Funniest movie I have ever seen. It is by no means a masterful work of art, but it is soooo fun to watch. It is just one of those movies that makes you feel really happy. The humor is ridiculous and outrageous, but that is what makes the movie. I swear the plot twists in this movie are freakin priceless too. Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz play the leads and they are brilliant. Not many people know about this one, but they should. 9.) What TV show/ book/... do you dislike that everyone else loves? The movie pitch perfect. Everyone seems to love this movie, but I was kinda turned off by it. I was really surprised that I didn't like it too because I usually love comedies, and I love musicals too. The humor just seemed a little weak to me, I didn't like the main girl (she just gave me a weird arrogant vibe), and it seemed like the plot kind of ripped off the movie dodgeball. Plus the book Divergent. It want so much that I didn't like it as I didn't like it nearly as much as most people do though. 10.) What TV show/ book/ ... do you like that everyone else dislikes? One of my favorite movies is The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is somehow one of the least popular Disney movies. Children don't like it because they can't understand the mature concepts or appreciate the dark beauty, and adults don't usually give it a chance. Oops... I just realized I answered the wrong ten questions. Guess you guys are getting 20! 1.) Who is your all time favorite fictional character? Tie between the broken yet lovely Will Herondale and the flawed yet unbreakable Lady Mary Crawley. 2.) Who is your favorite author? In terms of writing style, F. Scott Fitzgerald, in terms of story, Cassandra Clare. However, JK Rowling is an extremely close second. 3.) If you could spend a day with any fictional character, who would it be? Probably Will Herondale. I would have so many questions. So many. I would look forward to sparring with his and his clever wit as well! Wait, never mind, I take that back. I would spend the day with Dwight Schrute (the office). This would be without a doubt the most interesting day of my entire life. 4.) What is the one book/ tv show/ movie that you love but not a lot of people know about? The movies There's Something About Mary and Zoolander. Two of the best comedies I have ever watched. Also The hunchback of Notre dame which is one of the best disney movies and one of the most unknown. The infernal devices book series is soooo good and yet very few people seem to know about it outside of the fandom community. However, it have a feeling that this will change. The Book Between Shades of Gray ( yeah, I know, it was unfortunately named) by Ruta Setepys is another OUTSTANDING book that relatively few people know about. It is to only heartbreaking and beautifully written, but also so, so important. It is about a Eastern European girl who is shipped off to the Soviet work camps Stalin was using in the early 1900s. Although similar to holocaust books, this story is incredibly important because Stalin's crimes have been well his and are not nearly as well known as the holocaust. One person I recommended this book to told me after finishing that they were horrified by the fact that they had known nothing about this detail in history before reading the book. But it's becoming a movie, so word will probably spread about this one. 5.) What is your favorite episode of your favorite TV show? My favorite TV show is The Office and my favorite episode is a tie between Casino Night ( described above) and Stress Relief in season four, an hour long episode funnier than any movie that I have ever seen. 6.) What are you currently reading? I am reading The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater, but it is going slower than my liking because of the ridiculous amount of time that my homework has been consuming lately. 7.) Who is your least favorite fictional character? Already answered 8.) Who is your OTP? I have two major ones that I can't choose between which are Jim and Pam and Will and Tessa. I do have to say that Barbie and Ken from Toy Story 3 have a large place in my heart as well too though. Their hilarious and completely unrealistic relationship makes them a brilliant fictional couple that is so different than most. 9.) What is your favorite bromance? WILL AND JEM WITHOUT A DOUBT. I will never stop crying over them. Although... Even though they don't compete with will and jem, I have to mention that Dwight and Michael's relationship on the office is the most brilliant, unique, hilarious, mind bending thing that I have ever seen in a fictional universe. 10.) What book/ movie are you most excited for this year? CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE. No competition there *pumps fist in the air* My Questions: 1.) Which book/ book series/ movie/ tv show are you most emotionally attached to? 2.) Which book/ movie are you most looking forward to this year? 3.) Who is the scariest villain from any fictional universe? 4.) What is your favorite book series or TV show and why? 5.) Do you prefer fantasy or dystopias? 6.) What is your favorite movie or book quote? 7.) What is your favorite movie or book ending ever? Why? 8.) Who is the fictional character you love most and why? 9.) What is the most surprising plot twist that you have ever encountered? 10.) What is your favorite book to movie adaptation?
