im my defense i could not possibly have predicted a profusely bleeding/screaming protester would have the stamina and badassery to jump out of a moving ambulance.
thinking about how that woman is going to be taken directly from the hospital to jail because there’s no justice and the world is just so fucked up and evil
people being arrested tonight are going to be locked up until tuesday because of the holiday. they’re arresting as many people as possible tonight to keep people from being out tomorrow for day 100
the right wing’s tendency to be absolutely callous toward human suffering makes me sick. there’s a horrific video/photo of a protester who was injured in portland tonight (a rare night where protesters appear to have actually not thrown anything at cops the entire night) and half the comments on twitter are people going “good” and “play stupid games” like im sorry why are you so desperate for the police to be in the right? why are you so in favor of a gang of armed men who can do violence with zero consequences? why do you want to see people suffer?
