What constitutes as real art? Originality? The ability to replicate it? Is it only considered art if it is transformative? Transformative to the artist or the perceiver? Is art you create YOUR art or are you merely a tool that creates based on your environment and experiences? What makes Eminem a better artist than Vanilla Ice? Who is more artistic: The Simpson's or Shakespeare's work? and why? If art addresses an issue in society is it less artistic or more artistic? Are tattoos considered art or the process of tattooing considered art? Is designing, the designs on the shirt, or wearing a specific shirt design considered art? Something to think about.
