"trust me baby I'm a creep and I'm Lovesick with you" Peace's debut album 'In Love' officially dropped today and if you've been paying attention to my blog the last week or two you'll know I've been VERY excited for it. I listened to the NME stream all last week and got my hands on the deluxe edition today and wow - I love the whole thing. You can tell that the band has got it's influences with some Stone Roses and Primal Scream vibes mixing in with the tropical sound of Peace but there's something very original and unique about this album. Best album release of the year so far and a must listen. Thanks

"swim down through the fathoms of your soul, if you don't try and get your feet wet you're a liar and a troll" I am 'In Love' with Peace's album (eh eh eh - funny guy) But for real, Peace's debut 'In Love' is easily the best release so far of this year in my own opinion. It's out Monday but you can still hear it streamed on NME and all of the songs are up on youtube now. Here's 'Float Forever', I can't say it's my favourite as I've only been listening to the album for a few days but I can tell you it's a contender.

"If you're not happy wearing denim you're a devil in disguise" Float Forever - Peace - In Love The whole LP is streaming up on NME and it's the best record of the year so far in my own self absorbed opinion. 2013 is a fantastic year for new British music with the current crop of emerging bands. I've literally been listening to this song all day. It's so chill. Had the first relatively nice day of the year today, spring is here, summer can't come soon enough.
