    “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” One community may be in the verge of being brought into dismay, but that doesn’t mean that the actions of its people cannot make an impact and save their own community.

    The Muslim Compound started out in peace, letting its people live a good life and start their own family. Many more people came and made the Compound as their permanent place. You could find a store around every corner and many people started their own business and made their financial status stable. Of course, conflict between men cannot be avoided, and that is a part of the life around the neighborhood. Life is good around here but as we all know, things always change.

    The influence of illegal activities around Metro Manila managed to infiltrate inside the Muslim Compound. It may be the cause of some organization or some big name underground. The Compound then was slowly drawn into disorder. At the Aquino Administration, peace could not be found inside the Compound. The support of the government seemed to be not effective in the community. People could come in and outside, bringing or doing whatever their intention is. At times, the police or the SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) Team would commence a raid inside the Compound and they would be able to arrest many criminals around. It was good for everyone, but their effort and the effect was not much. After some time, another illegal users or the ones who managed to escape would be able to come back inside the community. This time was a dark chapter of the Muslim Compound.  

     Many more events and things happened, and so did the rise of a new administration who focused on exterminating and cleansing the country from illegal activities. The Duterte Administration took the initiative to engage all of the law enforcers to take action against illegal users. That is the time when the authority inside the Compound finally found a strong ally to cleanse the community from illegal activities. The government supported the communities in the action against illegal users.

    After a continued and non-stop action and monitoring, the Muslim Compound finally found peace. The illegal users were caught, and their hideout was no longer theirs. The authority inside the community implemented an I.D. system, for the security of the community itself and for the benefit of everyone. The Muslim Compound may have experienced its downfall, but the sincere intentions of the people to help their own community made a big impact to the rise and comeback of their place they call home.
