“Oh-” The Woman jumped just a tad, a fluffy and dark red furred ear twitching atop her head, having turned the corner and been greeted so abruptly and with such enthusiasm. There was some initial confusion when the Woman’s assumption was made, but after a moment she figured she understood who she was speaking of. Though with that line of thought out of the way, she couldn’t help but feel like she was possibly being examined, if only briefly. Her tails rising with curiosity just before she replies.

“No, not really anything I need, I was just taking a look around since I had time. My name’s Kyuushi.” Giving a similarly warm smile herself as she steps closer to the secretary’s desk. “Though I am a little curious, 115 seemed to be making it out like having my ears and tails out isn’t anything too unusual around here? Is it really fine?”

A tiny blue hand grasped her finger tightly, its owner burbling and laughing in the mindless way all babies did. Hecate couldn’t help but chuckle softly as she wiggled her digit in the child’s grip. Her eyes flicked to Hades, sensing him nervously hovered over them both. Nothing like first time dad nerves to turn the terrifying King of the Underworld into a paranoid papa hawk.

“For Gaia’s sake, Hades, will you unclench already?” She sighed exasperatedly, a second pair of arms sprouting from her form to keep the baby occupied while she spoke. “Your kid and I aren’t gonna vanish the second you look away! Follow your wife’s example and take a nap, will you?”

The enthusiastic reply given by Jay got a chuckle from Kyuushi, who put her hands forward with an “Okay, okay, here.” Taking a second to breathe, she seats herself, seemingly on nothing, knowing Harper was likely going to want to get a little hands-on in a second here. Letting her ears and tails come to be again, the earlier flicking a little atop her head while the later simply come to view under herself, acting as her seat like they had when they first met. 

Though just a few seconds after, they were joined by a pair of horns on her forehead. The skin around their base seeming to meld into them, and turn to a blue just two shades darker than her eyes as they take shape beyond her forehead. Outward at a steep upward angle first, but gradually curling back, to nearly stand straight up about six inches tall. Opening one eye at first to look to Harper and gauge her reaction.

For Melinda to so confidently reply like that, with no hesitation at all, was a little surprising to Kyuushi. Something within her just... couldn’t exactly understand whether or not the feelings with or from Harper was something more than just friendly relations. Yet... it made her feel better? Well, as better as she could before growing briefly confused at the box set before her, and swiftly after pleasantly surprised seeing the full meal prepared within.

Picking the chopsticks and taking a sushi roll to start, she chews at it while listening to the other Woman continue. Only needing a few more seconds after to chew the last bit, and swallow down the roll before she could respond. “There were a few things that seemed to hint that she could see through time... Can she really not do that with me?”

She was apologizing? For seeming like she was about to break down just seconds ago? Kyuushi might’ve chuckled if she wasn’t worried. That someone would apologize after asking her help, when that was something she wanted to give whenever she could, it was silly. With the person that was asking for her help though, she couldn’t feel that silliness. 

Just continuing her similarly tight grip around Harper’s hand while she gently moved to sit herself down using her tails. More to get on the same height level as her Friend, but if she were to want to get closer, she wasn’t going to stop her. The hand at Harper’s arm gently rising to try to get the other’s eyes to meet her own with a soft lifting beneath her chin. 

“You don’t need to apologize, Harper. Are you sure you’re okay? I don’t mind staying longer if you’re not.”
