𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝,  he can see her from across the room. someone, whom he had not seen in a rather long time ; another lifetime, more like. he takes a step forward, but there is still a great amount of space between them.  [ 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮? ]  his hair has grown longer than it ever had been, tied back in a loose knot.

    Obi-Wan  glances  from  her  to  the  horse  who  munched  happily  on  the  offered  carrot.  “I’m  starting  to  believe  it’s  not  me  you  eagerly  await,”  he  muses,  liberally  allowing  the  affection  to  bubble  to  the  surface.  After  a  long  journey  of  careful  stoicism,  polite  smiles  and  gestures,  he  can  finally  beam  in  pure  genuity. In all honesty, he had only been gone for a fortnight, which was the shortest of  his  excursions  thus  far.

“you again.” he observes, the tone kept neutral. repeated meetings are not yet a rule. but at the same time, they get rarer and rarer. it doesn’t feel right not to acknowledge them. the cantina falls silent as his armor gets loud, jostled by his approaching steps. there’s a seat he could take, but the hunter remains standing. 

his dented helmet sways, an inquisitive bow of the head. “making your way to mandalore?” he asks, unaccustomed to either the name of the planet or the idea of asking someone a question.

bo-katan had never been one to keep her opinions to herself. she was overly outspoken --------- sometimes, a bit too outspoken for her own good. her and her sister always shared different opinions -- always fighting tooth and nail for what they believed in. “ --------- are you going to continue to hate me for the rest of your life? or are we both going to see sense one day?” to her, it felt like them ever having any sense of peace between them was a lifetime away. 

“you know there needs to be change. there needs to be something more.” her helmet was off, eyes holding a fire as she looked at her sister. “we can’t keep pretending that what’s happening is working. you have to understand that my people are fighting for something real.” she used the ‘my’ as a personal dig, her standing up a bit straighter as she looked kept her gaze focused on satine. / @peacesought​ sc
