Peach mint Kitkat... almost a chocomint, it's more like peachy mint than a white chocomint - but it's also a nice combination anyway (pretty colors and good flavor combo!).

Jamvent 2023 - Days 16 & 17

Orange Guava Lime

I wasn’t very hungry yesterday morning and so only had the jam on the sugared, top half of a scone. (And then promptly forgot to post my review.) To be fair to the jam, I tried it again today on the bottom half of said scone. My opinion didn’t change. The jam at first is fine, nice mouth feel, kind of sweet yet also tart. But then the bitterness of the lime comes in. Like, the bad part of a lime, not the sour of a good, homemade key lime cheesecake. Still, I was able to finish off the jar, so I’m going to rate it as 3/10. 

Day 17: Peach Mint

I knew from last year, where Peach Mint was also the jam of the day on Day 17, that I wasn’t going to like this jam and my opinion holds. The peach is fine, nice and sweet. The problem is that I hate mint. I really, really do and can barely tolerate it in toothpaste. Therefore, the mint aftertaste and lingering air of it in my mouth was very much a no.  0/10
