I have rib pain from binding and I don't do it anymore, I don't think I have broken them either cuz they don't always hurt (I know I should go see a doctor tho cuz sometimes it feels like stabing/pinching) but I was wondering if rib pain can prevent top surgery?
That depends on the cause of the rib pain (broken ribs would, predictably, be a no-go until they were healed), but it sounds like you might have a rib subluxation, which wouldn’t prevent top surgery! Subluxations can be fixed through physical therapy and sometimes seeing a chiropractor, depending on if the chiropractor is familiar with adjusting body parts that aren’t the spine. You’d want to figure out what, exactly, was going on with your ribs and make sure it wasn’t something that could lead to an increased risk during surgery, but most causes of rib pains wouldn’t bar you from surgery.

I checked hormones blockers tag and I was wondering if I a nb person went on T for a few months-less than a year most likely, then when I went off, took hormone blockers would that prevent or lessen the reversible changes from going back?
i think it’d depend on the blocker you took. It’s reasonable to believe that it could do that, but at the risk of, as we’ve discussed at length, potentially deadly side effects (like heart attack). That’s the typical reason that the majority of professionals won’t allow blockers to be given to adults alone. mod mayhem
