Jecka's mom backstory (unofficial)
• Jecka's mom grew up on a farm in the Midwest, she was the middle child of 5 so she was rather overlooked most of her adolescent years. Often left to her own devices Jecka's mom loved to go through beauty magazines and gawk at the gorgeous woman contained within the glossy pages. After discovering runways and fashion shows Jecka's mom soon would become an aspiring model, practically begged her family to enter as many beauty pageants as she could.
• by the time Jecka's mom got into high-school she was a seasoned heartbreaker never one to settle down. Thats until she met her future husband, he was tall fit and handsome not to mention had a smooth way with words that made her knees wobble a little. She fell hard, the worst mistake she ever made in her life. They began dating it was great, it always is the first year.
• but then something happened that turned their entire world upside down, Jecka's mom soon fell pregnant at the age of 17. Her life hadn't even started and she felt like everything was crumbling before her. The only thing keeping her afloat was her boyfriend, who promised to take care of her and their child. Their families on the other hand were beyond furious. Wanting the two to split up and forcing Jecka's mom to give the baby up for adoption or terminate it.
• with the pressure of all their mistakes piling on and the fear of never being with the one she loved Jecka's mom saw only one option, they should runaway. So thats what they did, in the middle of the night her and her boyfriend packed up their shit into his pickup truck, stole whatever money they could and took off into the dead of night, they didn't speak to their folks for years.
• they ended up in the state of Virginia, far enough to the east and in a state not interesting enough to search for them. They built a small little life got married then had their beautiful baby girl Jessica, Jecka's mom ended up completing her GED (while pregnant) and enrolled herself in community college earning her bachelor's degree in business management and marketing (while rasing her daughter). Between her and her husband she was obviously the more capable one. The one keeping their little family together.
• After Jecka's mom got hired at the mall to help with their department stores, something shifted within her marriage. It was an ugly shift, her husband who was barely pulling his weight with the bills was feeling emasculated by his much more successful and bread winning wife. She'd make money come home, clean, cook and take care of her kid while he sat on his ass and complained about another day at the office job he was stuck at. He was a former football star and now he was working in insurance at a small cubicle... what a fucking waste of a life.
• Jecka's mom grew used to this routine once Jessica turned 6 it was common for her to come back to a messy home and expected to clean while getting food on the table. It became a hassle, so against her better judgement she started hounding her useless husband to pick up the slack. That argument turned into their first screaming match and it would only get worst from then on.
• the pressure of keeping her family afloat, her husband losing his shit on her almost every week, the scent of other woman on her husband's clothes, her pills suddenly turning missing, her daughter sudden shift from a loving little girl to a cold closed off teenager... there is only so much heartache she could take before she became a shell.
•she no longer found joy in her beauty anymore, seeing nothing other than an old hag that lost everything she held dear to her. All for a man that rather hookup with girls his own daughters age... she really felt so pathetic. Still providing to a man that no longer looks at her like she hung the moon and stars just for him, shattering whatever self worth she had left.
• Jecka's mom would become controlling. She got pregnant with her at a young age and she sees Jessica as a mistake in her once perfect life. She views her as an extension of the pain her father inflicts on her day after day, so she took her frustrations out on Jessica. Yet she also sees the potential in Jessica a way to mold her into something, she herself could never be. But Jessica fights her every single step of the way.
• when all hoped seemed lost, she turned to the last person she ever expect to lean on. Her own mother, after 15 years of no contact she had finally decided it was time to mend bridges and stop running from a mistake she made years ago, leaving her home behind for nothing.
