QIQI GENSHIN IMPACT RIGHTS
QIQI GENSHIN IMPACT RIGHTS BABYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Don’t know how to feel about fragments
I’M EXTREMELY RELIEVED.
BECAUSE LIKE. I WAS PREPARING FOR THIS SCENARIO ALL DAY??
AND TO HAVE IT BE RESOLVED INSTEAD OF BE ON A CLIFFHANGER, AND HAVE THE PROMO PROMISE MORE JASPER?
THAT’S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME THANKS.
Conn'dverse for ur favourite steven kinnie <33
connverse for peachie self proclaimed steven universe kinnie <33
When or if I started shipping it: Could not tell you a date or episode really - I guess I always thought they were cute since Connie was introduced as a character!
My thoughts: I really appreciate that the show prioritized their friendship and bond over the romance like so many kids shows would have fallen into. And when we finally do get to see that romance aspect in SUF it’s handled very realistically, and they allow themselves to still be separate people, who happen to be in love. I really love how casual their first and only on screen kiss was.
What makes me happy about them: They love each other so much, and support each other like it’s nobody’s business. They never have a moment of ‘we should break up’ because their bond isn’t the kind of fragile one you see in some romances. They put so much work into their relationship, and honestly it makes me feel really seen as a person who finds love through time.
What makes me sad about them: It’s never been confirmed, but it’s implied that Steven will probably live a lot longer than most humans. He’ll probably live for a long time after Connie is gone. It also makes me a bit sad that their life paths have taken them apart right now, but I know they’ll find each other again.
Things done in art/fic that annoys me: I’m not in the fandom that much so I’m honestly not sure, but I suppose if someone made their relationship out to just be ‘dating’ it’d leave a sour taste in my mouth just because of how out of their way the show went to show that their love for each other is far deeper than simply ‘dating’. Also comparing Stevonnie to having sex is wrong.
Things I look for in art/fic: They’re a fantastic ship for hurt/comfort--the few fics I’ve read of them featured that and it was great.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: There’s literally no other kids their age in the entire SU cast lol so nobody LOL.
My happily ever after for them: They get to live together in some really homie cottage in some remote area, and probably raise some children together, they’d do that. They’d definitely get a dog and a cat too. Every so often they’ll take a spacecation touring planets and not having to worry about the safety of the universe.
What is their favorite non-sexual activity? I’m not sure honestly! Maybe doing projects together? Or going out and trying new things with each other.

Thank you so much for your takes/posts you’ve put onto my dash, I’ve seen a lot of concerning and upsetting interpretations of Fragments and its nice to see some that really get to the core of why it fits these characters.

I understand why people are responding to this episode in strong ways, but detaching my own hopes and wants and perspective from things I can clearly see why the character choices build upon each other and make sense.
Believe me, there are definitely places where I’m hesitant and in the blind about the direction SUF is taking as well. But in the end, I do know for certain it’ll be a wild ride. I can’t wait to see what happens.
The worst part about all of this shitposting is that it'll probably actually cause a steven-shipping rise and I won't even know how to feel about it
Feel good. This is the Steven loving himself arc we always wanted.
HUH??????????????????????
@shizukateal @peachie5000 My mistake was in taking the ending message of the movie completely at face value. Steven struggling with the idea that his “purpose” is now obsolete is completely in line with the ending of the movie, and while that makes the ending of the movie a little less positive in retrospect, I think it’s a good thing to examine. Steven needs a release; he needs to find a way to vent all the crap he’s got bottled up, and we never really got to see that in the first five seasons. I’m glad we’re getting to see it now.
I just hope the show follows through and actually gets the damn kid a therapeutic episode or five.
