omg I don't wanna even think about my first pet stuff that was awful 🤦🏾‍♀️ that def was a cash grab and you couldn't even use it if u didn't have cats and dogs. yeah 4 has had some disappointing content but exactly like comparing the first sims to the newest one it's like two different world graphics wise. sims 4 and it's packs lack in the variety others had despite being out for years now :/ but you're right I feel like nostalgia keeps alot of ppl playing despite it all ntm the mods lol

lmao omg. the only way its at least kinda sorta playable is because of mods from content creators. like they really had furniture pieces that matched up with items froms cats & dogs. so that literally proves they purposely kept them from us just to add that unnecessary cash grabbing pack

it really is. like i understand why people shit on sims 4. but it really is gorgeous compared to the grainy 2d shit of sims 3 and under. and i do prefer aesthetics over anything else when it comes to storytelling, but in terms of causal gameplay it is seriously lacking. i dont believe its bc of them wanting to make the game accessible to everyone. thats what the loading screens are for. its literally just for them to do less work and get more money. like i dont blame the devs who just do what they are told, but the higher ups of ea are shit

but asfjhgashjfgayfhsaf omg yeah. i was like 10 when sims 1 came out so i was dumb af and knew nothing about mods and cheat codes. and it so funny bc sims 1 was so much more challenging than newer versions. not to mention the lack of clothing and interior options. but i still loved it so much. if i can figure out how to work sims 1 on windows 7 then i can try to play it on bootcamp. but idk if it would work since its such as old ass game.

but wrow. it really was a huge part of my childhood. like i remember buying the stripper cage and cake and thinking i was so bad lmao asfkahfjsk. like why is this shit missing from the newer sims. we need stripper cages!!!!

IKR!! It so long for seasons to come back into sims 4 I didn't think it was gonna happen even tho alot of ppl speculated it was the next pack. There are alot of things from sims 3 I wish they'd put in 4 i know they won't but I'm happy seasons is finally back. Dude I felt the same i stopped playing alot of computer games cause I felt like maybe it was too nerdy (is really not tho lol) even tho it was a big part of my childhood but my roommate got me back into it and here we are lol I can't wait

i knew it was coming, but i didnt know how they would execute it and i was really worreid about it. because sims 4 has really been disappointing to me personally so i was kinda scared lmao. although its still my favorite one so far for aesthetic reasons

so i agree so much. like i love sims 4 graphic-wise and how compatible it is with so many different systems (bc i struggled to run sims 3 on my mac.) but there are so many fun small little details that are missing and make sims 4 just not as funi guess. not to mention i feel like ea is a cash cow and trying to make people pay for things that should have already been in the game (like the toddler stuff pack and the my first pet pack or w/e with pets and etc.)

and omg i know. i have vivid memories of playing sims 1 and borrowing packs from friends to install to my pc so i had them all. and that might be one of the reasons why i care so much about the franchise. because i’ve played it since i was young and it was one of the first pc games i loved

Sorry to be weird but omg I saw your tags on that post about the Sims and I just wanted to say I'm also really excited about the seasons pack coming out :) I recently just got readdicted to playing it aka making a bunch of Sims and using a lot of cheats lol

i actually deleted the entire game and packs from the mac bc ive been having issues with how it was running but i am 10000000% for sure reinstalling everything when seasons comes out. ive been watching so many reaction vids to the trailer and everything bc im so hyped asjfhafhasfk

i kind of lost interest (not really, but my focus was more on other things so i kinda just put it on the backburner) but now that seasons is fucking finally coming out im gonna try and play it again
