No one fights alone. September is Uterine/Endometrial cancer awareness month. I just want to take this time to thank all the people both family and friends who have made my fight a little easier. I know i haven't been my best but you guys bring out the best in me even when I'm dead tired. Thank you for showing me love. The reason I find this so important, is because endometrial cancer is not talked about much in the media, so not a lot of donations are allocated to research for treatment for this cancer. I feel like awareness needs to be raised for this cancer, because it’s a common cancer in women, and it’s really difficult for patients to beat this diagnosis. In my line of work, I’m constantly speaking to women who are desperate to find clinical trials that might be the answer to a longer life for themselves, which they should be entitled to. However, there are just not enough trials. There’s not enough money, it goes to other cancers like breast cancer or prostate cancer. Please help me raise money for these women that are fighting, and the women that will need to fight this in the future. 

I ride for the amazing team at MSKCC that I work with. I ride for all of the patients that I speak with every day, that tell me their stories and why and who they are fighting this disease for. I ride for all of their loved ones that are struggling right next to them, and are doing their best to advocate for them and support them. I ride for those that won the fight. I ride for those who are still fighting. I ride for those who have lost the fight. I ride for my sisters, my mom, and especially my dad.
