@peachrote , [ INTERRUPT ] - for shorter muse to stop during the middle of a conversation and stand on a chair/sit on a table so they can be eye level with the taller one. / yuu for sebek! fucking tiny ass protag (i say, being the same height as them)
THERE WAS NOT MANY AS SMALL AS THE HUMAN, but most felt to be small compared to him. despite being a first - year, sebek stood at an impressive height. unmatched by the majority of his classmates, save the one from savanaclaw who was not all too keen on his presence. one would think from their similar taste of working out on a daily basis, they would get along quite well -- but his noise levels rarely sat well with anyone who was not more than used to him. because of his stature, he was useful for situations like this. maybe no expert with magic like some of the older students, but some situations did not call for magic -- just brute strength. it was what he was often used for around their dorm, & when the event was something that his lord was going to attend as well, it was not very difficult to get him on - board for helping. it would take some weight off the prefect’s shoulders, so long as they could put up with his volume.
watching as they climb atop one of the dusty chairs in the storeroom of ramshackle dorm, his eyes follow their line of sight. it certainly puts them closer -- but even on top of a chair, they still fall a handful of centimeters short of his own height. ❝ it’s fine if you don’t wish to carry them. i can do it. ❞ with his help, the would be able to move the contents of the room rather quickly. whether it was a desk in each hand, or eight chairs at a time; it was not much more difficult than his usual routine. why they would choose to keep all of this in a dusty, ghost - riddled dorm was beyond him. while used to an old - style building himself, their dorm was kept pristine in all aspects. to see a building like this, kept so dusty & dirty, it was a shame. more so to think that they would stick someone there to live on their own. ❝ in this condition, they are hardly presentable. ❞ sebek comments, dragging his index finger along the top of one of the desks. when he pulls back, the black leather of his glove has a thick layer of dust lining it.
if they were going to be taking these out of the dorm, they would need to be sure to thoroughly clean them beforehand. just how this task could have been initially assigned to one person was beyond comprehension. his own arrogance would stop him from being able to admit that it may be a big task for the two of them even -- after all, his help should have been enough to get the job done. much work for a human, but he was different. ❝ we will need proper supplies, you have those i take? ❞ or perhaps he hoped, considering they occupied such a dusty building. he’d never been in their livable areas, but he could only imagine they would be cleaner than the poorly lit storeroom.
