//hello! please like this post if you’re interested in interacting, and i will dm you!🌹
//h……hi,,
//hiii y'all. i've not been doing too well lately so i'm putting myself on a short hiatus. <3 take care of urselves!!
i am a forgetful role player.
sometimes i will post inbox calls, starter calls or interaction calls and i will happily begin … when i have muse for it, and sometimes i will lack muse, and i may forget about it all.
that is not because of you, the other part.
forgetfulness is something that we often frown upon, take as an insult directly towards us as a person. “but they never write to me”, “they always forget about me”, “i’m not gonna interact because they always forget” and while these things are totally valid, it must be said that forgetting things are human. not only is it human, but we should allow role players to be forgetful every now and then, simply because many, if not all, have lives outside of Tumblr that require a lot of them.
my forgetfulness is never directed towards you as a person.
my forgetfulness is never directed towards your creations.
sometimes i forget because …
i am tired.
i have a lot on my mind.
i get lost in other tasks.
i have to prioritize.
i bite over more than i can chew.
i simply forget.
therefore it must be said, have patience. reach out. don’t just sit back and huff about how you “always seem to be forgotten”. some folks have a lot on their minds, and that needs to be allowed.
𝓙𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓪𝓵 ー send 📖 for a journal entry my muse wrote about yours.
heyyy! first post ♡
"Well, yeah!"
"I'm the Ultimate Musician, not the Ultimate Music Fangirl. I go out and make more music, not spend all my time listening music other people have made. Have to prioritise!"
Sonia's lips part as if she expected a response to Ibuki's reasoning, but she couldn't think of one. Again, her mouth closes, and she hums. "I suppose you are right." She tilts her head. "But do you not draw inspiration from the music of others?"
"Ah, Nevermind...!" He turns at the sound of her voice almost immediately, his enthusiasm seeming almost contagious as she clutches her surprise closely to her chest - in spite of himself, he finds himself getting caught up in the excitement, practically bouncing back and forth. "Oh, let's see!" Leaning down to get a better look at the little capsule in her hands, he claps his hands together, excitedly. "Whoa, that's really lucky, Sonia! I love playing with those little machines too!"
Chuckling to himself at her amazing find, he was taken aback to find that the ring was perhaps...meant for him...? Reaching down, he gingerly takes the capsule between his fingers, carefully opening it up and allowing the little ring to fall into the palm of his hand. Looking down at the ring and then over at Sonia, he holds it up, his expression clearly touched and full of joy at the gesture.
"This is really really fucking cool!" He exclaims, proudly putting the ring onto his finger as he displays it for Sonia to see. "I'm gonna wear this every day now! Thank you!"
Ryuji was always quick to return her enthusiasm, it was something she really liked about him. He never thought her interests silly or simple or trivial. The little things in life were the most amazing to her, and he welcomed that mindset fully. As he takes the gift in hand, she can't resist bouncing in place slightly upon her reddish heels, anticipation all but visible as she awaits his review.
He'll wear it every day! "I am so glad you like it, Sakamoto-san! It is so very 'you'!" She claps her hands together, taking his palms in her own to get a better look at the plastic ring as if were made of fourteen karat. "Oh? You like gatchapon machines as well? Had I known, I would have asked you to come along! Next time, we will go together, yes?" She smiles up at him, sunny and gratified, nodding. "We can even get ramen together. I know how much you like that, too."
Angels
This is it, how angels feel sadness. The most softly suicide that ever has been made..
Most pretty wings, sparkling light bathing in real pig blood, smelling like bitter cherries.
If you cut out the aorta there is still a heart, and we r wearing our prettiest well behaved dresses when the sunlight was tickeling our skins..
Innocence was written those days.
As the princess talked, Sayori didn't once let her attention wander elsewhere. Even though this person, who was a stranger not long ago, had a social standing way above her own. Sayori could still somewhat relate to her problems.
Hearing Sonia apologize after trusting Sayori enough to tell her about those problems, it made her want to reassure the princess even more.
"Oh, no, you don't have to apologize... It might be kind of selfish of me to say this... but I really appreciate that you told me!"
She was really glad to be able to let her guard down a little. If a princess was able to open up, then surely a basic girl like Sayori could do the same right?
"But I do get how you feel... It can be really hard to live up to expectations."
"Especially when..- "
She stops herself and looks down at her legs, not wanting to make this all about her own issues.
"Maybe he's also trying to live up to expectations, so much so that he forgets about other people?"
Sayori wasn't exactly sure where that thought came from, especially because she's never thought the same way about her own situation.
Was it really that simple..?
Especially when? she repeats in her mind, curious as to what the other girl was about to say; she wants to ask, but she doesn’t want to impose upon her any more than she already has. “You… do not mind? Even though we have only just met?” Sonia breathes a sigh of relief as her company is welcoming towards her otherwise inappropriate over-sharing. A small smile spreads across her lips.
Her surprisingly sound insight catches Sonia off guard for how grounded it is, how fair and reasonable. “I… I do wonder if you are perhaps right.” Sonia had read case studies on the psychology behind socially destructive behaviors of the sort. “I wonder if he feels a pressure akin to that which he has placed upon me,” perhaps it was the familiarity of the only thing he knew: pressure. Nevermind couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty to have never considered that mindset may very well apply to a friendship she was part of, simply because she was on the receiving end. “I still, well… of course, I cannot help but feel somewhat hurt, but perhaps remembering as much will both help me to manage the relationship I have with him, as well as my own emotions, yes?”
“You are a very thoughtful person, Sayori-san,” says Sonia, her characteristic grace and sunniness retuning to her visage. “Has anyone ever told you that you are very easy to talk to?”

@valorxdrive asked: ❝ i bear this sword so i can protect my home in times like this. ❞
From the moment they’d met, Sonia could tell there was something different about him. The scent of the ocean, the sunkissed hue upon his visage—the overwhelming sunniness of a smile that never seemed to disappear. To an untrained eye, one may assume he was simply a cosplayer or childish, but by the sterling edge of the weapon he adorned, she could tell he and his blade had seen genuine conflict.
“An odd sword, it is,” Sonia leans in, examining it carefully; the reflection shines so bright it was almost difficult for someone like she to gaze upon. It looked more like a key than anything else. “It is a nobel pursuit to protect one’s homeland. You are a knight then, yes?”
oh alice! she'll convince everyone that they've gone and fallen, that up is down and down is up! for her, a mad world is a beautiful place, and what a chance to have at it than someone who was every inch the sort that she'd expect in a place where the extraordinary could happen at ANY GIVEN MOMENT! "a mother like that... well i suppose we ought to be glad she hasn't buttons for eyes, but i wonder how much of a lesson is being made if you haven't seen the point of it? perhaps she might be a great queen, but a terrible teacher. yes! i believe that is something someone can be both of!" a careless tongue, she ought to be far more careful than to allow for such opinions to spill so casually, and she thinks, how could anybody imagine a childhood that was absent of being dull, flighty, and silly all at once?
for that was what made a child! a moment, a foundation, and weren't such things important for all? oh how she wanted so awfully to take a peek, to peer deeper into sonia... not for the fact that she were a princess, because, well. while it were a RARIFIED THING, it couldn't simply be the sum of her parts. or would it be? that's what dreams were for exploring! though most might find her flighty and silly herself for claiming the ability to do so, even if she was rather unnerving in the things she'd pick and peel and pull out of the soul's matter. and that, matter, was one of great importance! dreams were the stilts of the heart! the motivation of the soul! so what, pray tell, did sonia crave? perhaps the pretty things within, but her fingertips frame gentle at the glass.
there's an unexpected answer, but there's no giggle, no hint of a laugh from alice, no! she's delighted with a smile that splits, and against the glass, the dust, she etches out the lines she imagines blood, neon pink dripping, the way that one might expect when a light stick were cracked open. or a head! both EQUALLY POSSIBLE on some days. "blood splatter! how delightfully macabre. where did that come from? oh! the american show? C.S.I.?" sonia, the purveyor of foreign media, consumer of all things that her ravenous heart desired to know! they're more alike than one might seem, taking sonia's hand into her own to help her trace out the shapes she's made. who killed who? "maybe you could do both. who says you can't? be a princess and a blood splatter analyst that is."
- @princessonia
A life of extravagance and excitement at every turn, preforming a service that really meant something to the lives of others; that should be the path she was already set upon, right? “Yes, well… I do imagine I will be rather busy upon the eventual return to my country, but who knows what the future may hold, yes?" Her highness fashions a weak smile, as Alice is so natural to think optimistically, while Sonia's gaze lowers and she grounds herself—because who said she couldn’t be what she wanted to be? Well, “Mother darling,” was already most unpleased at the amount of free time Sonia spent towards her interest in all things morbid and taboo, “for better or worse, has done well in the role I am to succeed, even as she may have married into it.” Leaning forward a bit, her gaze examines the intricate work carved into a thrown, handmade tea set. How wants to take it in hand and hold it to the sun, marvel in the beauty, but she knows better than to touch. “While I do not always understand her methods, I have it on high authority that there is… no better advisor.” (Did it sound like she was trying to convince Alice, or herself?)
And just like that, a gasp escapes her lungs upon the very mention of daytime television. Liddell certainly knew all the right words.
“Oh, oh!" she nods fervently. "Yes, I do love that one!” She spent an entire spring break binging the first few seasons, a few years back. “And many other crime investigation dramas, like the one about the different police units in New York City, or the one about the serial killer who kills serial killers! That one is a favorite of mine. Have you seen it?” she asks, an exuberant passion clear in her words now, as if her excitement had just visibly shot up on the scale from one to a ten. “You see, I was fascinated because the main character is also a blood spatter analyst; he uses his knowledge of the trade to aid in getting away with his crimes. It is truly amazing! I wonder, would something like that be possible in reality?” A fingertip presses itself to her lips as she hums pensively. “Oh! Not that I have anything of the sort planned, of course,” (oh, honey, hindsight is always twenty-twenty,) “my interest is purely for educational purposes. Call it a… guilty pleasure, I suppose?” She covers her lips, giggling sweetly.
“Do you have anything in your life of the sort?” Guilty pleasures?

chiaki gives a little sigh, though it's accompanied by a soft smile. for someone so educated, sonia can be surprisingly difficult to teach... and it's not for lack of effort, either. there's just so many things the other girl isn't familiar with, things she's never even encountered before. chiaki's never had to show someone how to simply turn a console on before, or the placement of the buttons or how to open a menu.
"well, you have a lot of learning to do... i think." he doesn't mind the small struggles in teaching sonia about his favorite thing in the world, because it means he gets to share them with her. and he hopes it's the same when sonia shows him her favorite horror movies, or talks about her occult interests.
without even really thinking about it, chiaki rests her head against sonia's shoulder and closes her eyes for a moment, resting there, almost cat-like. if she were a cat, she'd probably be purring.
Truly, Sonia felt blessed that Chiaki was always so patient with her; there were certainly those, not only among their classmates but close acquaintances back home, that could grow frustrated with how flighty and distracted her highness could be when she got excited. To be fair, she'd never so much as held a console before Chiaki put one in her hands; how could she not be elated by the novelty, if nothing else? "Then I am very lucky to have you as my teacher… 'I think'." A playful giggle resounds as she parrots his casual catchphrase.
A little warm sensation heats her typically pallid visage as she feels Nanami lean against against her, her heart both beating faster and feeling lighter in the same moment. Her highness rests her cheek atop Chiaki's head and nuzzles her. She can't help but feel a little sentimental towards the rare touch, and she sliders her palm around his, gripping it softly.
"Nanami-san… can we please be friends forever?"
Gundham dropped his hand to the side upon making eye contact with Sonia. "…Indeed, those days are something that we can no longer take back, after the atrocities we have committed, unwillingly or otherwise." He thought looking back on fond and colorful memories during her time as a monarch could alleviate the despair within, but he might have likely made things worse.
Part of him felt guilty, but he intended to make it up to her without a second thought. "I should be the one apologizing for pushing for such a suggestion in the first place. I didn't even consider your feelings," he uttered, subconsciously pulling up his scarf to cover half of the regret displayed on his visage. "To be honest, I should have known better, and I should have done something sooner." He clenched his fist, frustrated with the error of his ways. "I merely watched you metamorphose into an infallible sign of hope and light for everyone from a distance. Yet deep inside, you're just as lost and helpless after losing everything like anyone else."
His tense posture relaxed as he let out a breath, his mind finally cleared from the fog of guilt. With closed eyes, he began, "If you're going to keep selflessly play your part to keep being the beacon of light and hope, then I feel it is just right to let me be selfish in my request." He then opened his eyes, his gaze shining with resolve. "Let me be your shadow to your light. No one else will have to know of your innermost sorrows if you confide with me. I've witnessed how much of a struggle it is to pave through the pain and turmoil alone. But… it is because of everyone, and you, that I can even request such a bold request right now."
As per usual, he can read her, understand her perfectly, the likes of which few others, if any, have ever been able. He offers to help shoulder the burden of her mistakes, the notion alone being enough to make her heart race, his kindness immeasurable. She could remember a time where such sentiments would be locked away deep behind his walls, and his change in heart was nothing less than touching. He had grown so much, and he was so strong; her admiration for him was something she couldn't quantify. Her highness lowers her head as she recollects aloud the beautiful, somber memory, as if begging time to turn back.
“It… it was always this time of year, midsummer,” she began, “when mother, father, and I would go to the lake in the countryside. I remember how we would ride horses through the orchards, and how my cousins and I would play in the sand and get sunburns. Oh, I miss them so dearly. My family, my childhood friends. My people. I want so much to return to them," but there was no one to return to.
"Tanaka-san," the distance between them nearly dissipates in full as she steps closer and looks up towards him, tears welling in her dull turquoise gaze as she bore into his asymmetric, but she doesn't touch, "you are the only family I have left now. You, the devas, our class. You are not the shadow to my light, but my beacon in the darkness. It is you, Tanaka-san, that has always been there for me, for even before all this, it has… always been you," her cheeks had flushed with an ardent shade, as if she were confessing to something much deeper than his confidence, "and always will it be."
"There is no one with whom I'd rather share my heart."

@breakthroughtheconfusion asked: ❛ honestly, it's impressive that you're still standing after everything that has happened. ❜ - (AI Chiaki)
She feels as tired as Chiaki always looks. Peering down at a shining, pearlescent earring in her palm, she closes her grip around the last memento she had to remember him by. Her gaze returns to the girl at her side.
"Likewise, Nanami-san." Despite the heartache and tragedy all around them, her comrade never once faltered. Sonia had shed so many tears at every befallen ally, yet, "How is it that you are always able to remain so strong and level-headed?"
