An Update ♡

hi guys!!! i know it’s been a long time since i’ve posted and really updated you all on everything, and i’m so sorry about that!! i have a lot of explaining to do, and i’m back... sort of? 

long story short, what happened back in early August was burnout. i got tired of the blog in all honesty, and i wasn’t exactly in the perfect mental state last year. i overworked myself and stressed a lot over the fact that school was starting up soon and posting on time, which isn’t anyone’s fault. at one point i finally decided i couldn’t even look at the blog anymore and simply logged out- i wish i had at least given a hiatus message before i had done so, but at that point i was extremely overwhelmed and not thinking right. 

over the break, i kept Tumblr on both my phone and laptop (which, yes, I got !!) and occasionally checked up on the blog. it warmed my heart seeing how much i was growing despite not posting (we’re almost at 200 followers, and we had reached 100 the last milestone... holy shit ??). but i was still working on myself and resolving my issues, so i stayed away from the blog. 

now, i’m doing much better!! i’m at a great place mentally and i’ve learned how to balance school. i really needed the extra time to work on myself, and now i’m 100% sure i can take up the blog again. although, i won’t have the most consistent schedule admittedly. i have some other projects going on along with school, but i’ll still try to post at least once a week! i’ll likely be able to have a consistent schedule in the summer, although i’ll keep you all updated on that.

for now, i’m clearing out my inbox requests! i’m going to reopen requests when the weekend comes around, and i’ll be working on a 200 Milestone post (which i may be holding a poll on, i’m not sure yet). i’ve also gotten into some other fandoms along the way, although i likely won’t become multi-fandom til at least the summer as well (if i even do).

hi lovelies !! i know i said i’d open them last weekend, but some other projects got in the way and i completely forgot!!! however, requests are now open again! please make sure to review my rules before sending in a request, as they’ve updated! 

if you’d like to check whether or not your request has been accepted + the status of your request, check out my wip page! i try to update it as often as i can, and it’s the most reliable way to check how much longer your request will take. i’ll also only be posting around 1-2 requests a week, so please be patient!

We will be having one last poll to decide which type of AU I should write. This time you are only allowed to choose one option, and certain AU’s aren’t necessarily character x reader but rather similar to my past platonic AU’s. In the meantime I’ll be writing my other requests while multitasking the event. 

I’ve also read all the comments on the first poll, and I still can’t say thank you enough for all of your kind and reassuring words!! I’ve taken note some on some issues, and I can promise that they’ll be resolved. With the other options, those certainly won’t be forgotten 👀

Semi-Hiatus Notice

ah shit here we go again

This was probably majorly unexpected, and honestly I’m surprised too but I’ve decided to take a semi-hiatus this week. I spilled water all over my laptop yesterday (while playing sdr2 smh) and it short circuited. I’m going to replace the battery sometime this week, but that also means I won’t be able to use it.

I’ll still have my phone, and since I use Google Docs I have the app. I can still write on my phone, although things will definitely take longer to write which is why I’m going on a semi-hiatus.

Holy shit, thank you guys so much for 100 followers!!!! I never expected to even reach 70, and it feels like yesterday that I was doing a 25 milestone event. This is insane, I can’t express how grateful I am especially considering I haven’t written a thing since my laptop short-circuted!! 

Before I get into the milestone event, there’s an update on the laptop situation!! I’m getting a new one on Tuesday, and once it’s set up I’ll be right back to writing. I hit a writer’s block on the phone and wasn’t able to write anything but we’ll be back on track very soon!

With the milestone event, YOU guys will be the ones to pick what I do again! There are also questions at the end of the form that aren’t mandatory but are greatly appreciated! Please fill out the form below otherwise i’ll have no clue what to do!!

even though I had one day of school this week due to snow days, I am ~officially~ on midwinter break! lots of gaming for me during the coming week.

also, I was watching my dad play Leon’s story and he said “just let them be” to Ada so softly... I died. I love him 😭
