Enjoy the tastes of a traditional peach cobbler in the form of a waffle! These Peach Cobbler Waffles are the best thing to eat for breakfast because they are full of sweet raisins and peaches.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1 egg. 1 cup buttermilk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup canned peach slices, drained and chopped. 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers. Whipped cream and maple syrup for topping.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In another bowl, beat the egg and then add buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; it's okay if there are a few lumps. Gently fold in the chopped peaches and crushed graham crackers. Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it with non-stick spray or butter. Pour the waffle batter onto the preheated waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown and crisp. Serve the Peach Cobbler Waffles hot, topped with whipped cream and drizzled with maple syrup.
