Things had been quiet. More so than usual. With Sousuke using the money of his part time job to move into his own little apartment, the solitude of the ravenette just seemed to raise each and every day. Especially with the coming of the colder months. Rin and him had a falling out before the beginning of winter break, and needless to say it had been about a week since the red head had taken his leave.
The sound of music filled the small apartment, accompanied with melodies of gun fire. Sitting forward the boy was hunched over in his computer chair, quite involved in one of his games, a new one which had come out a week or so ahead of the break, it had taken over his life, and was definitely helping him cope with the fight he and Rin had. He had been eating on a rare occasion, and it wasn’t as if he were obsessed to the point of it harming his health, it was just a preferred setting than leaving his apartment.
He hadn’t been the type to lock his door, there was no need for it to be so, at least he thought. Call it a habit, we was used to Rin making his way over and letting himself in, So even during one of their fights, it had been subconsciously left open. His phone laid on the counter in the small kitchen with about a dozen missed calls, but it would seem, nothing was going to phase him from his game right then and there.
