Okay but I’ve been thinking of the concept of Yamcha or Tien actively like pursuing the other, flirting, etc. for the past few days and the biggest thing I truly believe on why it would take them so long to get together is because Tien’s, well, Tien. He has A Lot of stuff he hasn’t dealt with and that manifests in him not getting close to many people, but I also feel like he’s self sacrificing? Like he’d realize he’s in love with Yamcha but would abstain from ever admitting it because he just feels like Yamcha deserves someone more normal, he deserves a happy, simple life. On top of that he is an honourable man, so I just cant see him ever pursuing Yamcha while he and Bu/ma still have something going on- With that being said though, the concept of Tien actually seeing Bu/ma be really awful to Yamcha, like truly just unfair and mean and he just can’t take it- He’s so offended on Yamcha’s behlaf, he just says “Nope, no. you don’t deserve him.” and then he just picks Yamcha up, throws him over his shoulder and leaves while Bu/ma and Yamcha are both just like /?????!!!????!!
