It's also a great series because its low-key Game of Thrones level of political intrigue and it has soooo many characters that make the world feel lived in and real, the story keeps expanding in scope and becoming more and more complex, it's so fun to see how characters shift in importance as Myne rises up in rank and how her understanding of her position in the world evolves

Cooking dinner for the eleventy hundredth time and quietly adding to my fantasy list.

1. Husband calls to say he’s organised dinner and not to worry about a thing - he’ll be home soon.

2. My balanced, delicious home cooked meal is enjoyed by all, with not one complaint.

3. While cooking dinner, I’m served a delicious cocktail.

4. While cooking dinner, my children comment how delicious it smells and how they cannot wait to have yet another one of my dinners prepared especially for them.

5. After dinner, everyone comments how yummy their meal was and how full they are and subsequently never complain about being hungry.

6. I get a fucking thank you.

I love that they swap spots in the cockpit when they swap heads. there is NO room in that cockpit. the thought of them scrambling all over each other is very amusing
