This Fluffernutter Chip Ice Cream is a delicious mix of smooth peanut butter, airy marshmallows, and dark chocolate chips that will make you remember your childhood. Every scoop has just the right amount of sweet and salty flavors.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Pinch of salt. 1/2 cup chopped chocolate or chocolate chips.
Instructions: In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved and mixture is steaming. In a separate bowl, whisk together peanut butter and marshmallow fluff until smooth. Slowly whisk the warm cream mixture into the peanut butter and marshmallow mixture until smooth and well combined. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator until completely cold, preferably overnight. Once chilled, churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions. During the last few minutes of churning, add chopped chocolate or chocolate chips. Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.
