Peanut cactus 🌵 Echinopsis chamaecereus Great in a hanging basket when it gets bigger! If you haven’t grown one, they aren’t too prickly. You handle them real gentle but you squeeze the wrong way they will let ya know! When my fingers are real dry I tape them up with masking tape so I can handle them better. They seem to get me more when my hands are overly dry! 😣 if I remember correctly this one was about 2” tall at the time the pic was taken. So tiny. They’re just the cutest as babies! . This perfect baby belongs to @alysonuncle I’m sure it’s grown since this pic was taken last year. I am SUCH a proud #plantmom today. Look at these two! Those buds from yesterday evening are all died up & done but the second blooms are just gorgeous this afternoon! I’m so glad I got to see them! The poor little #PeanutCactus that I got as a free swap that’s all stretched & skinny on top has this vibrant red flower!
