Going to talk about my schrucy fan kids because they’ve been in my head for 5 years now and they deserve attention
Starting with their oldest, Ludwig Shana Felton van Pelt:
Age: 18
Eye color: Blue
Personality: She's Lucy's kid through and through and has her mother's crabbiness but there is a touch of Schroeder in there with her having his calm demenor when she isn't in a bad mood. She is like that with the people she cares about such as her family and friends. If she has a problem with you she will tell it straight to your face.
Facts about her:
-Oldest daughter of Schroeder and Lucy.
-Given the name Ludwig due to her parents fully believing that she was going to be a boy and wanting to name the baby after Schroeder's hero.
-Turns out she wasn't a boy but the two of them were used to calling her Ludwig that they kept the name, deciding to let her choose what she wanted to go by when she was older.
-She prefers to go by Shana but lets her parents still call her Ludwig.
-Total momma's girl but she does love spending time with her dad
-She likes to study while he's playing the piano, it helps her focus.
-She is musically gifted like her father and plays the violin.
-She can play the piano but prefers the violin.
-Shana is closer to Rerun than Linus as he was Schroeder and Lucy's go to baby sitter. He used to bike her to places with her on the back of his bicycle. He also took her around the city when she was two so that she could see the outside world(heheh call backs).
-That's not to say she isn't close to Linus. She loves her Uncle Linus and likes listening to him talk.
-Linus actually got her to believe in the Great Pumpkin. Lucy was not happy when she found out because she didn't want to break her daughter's heart. So she told Linus that he had to deal with the aftermath. He agreed and until she was nine, Shana got a small gift from the Great Pumpkin when she got back from trick or treating.
-She has special blanket that Linus gave her as her first gift from the Great Pumpkin. Schroeder had to calm Lucy down from panicking that she was going to drag the blanket arund like Linus did. She did not end up dragging it around but she struggles to sleep without it.
-Her earliest memory is of crawling around the kitchen while Lucy was making mac and cheese and Schroeder was playing Beethoven.
-Schroeder has composed lullabyes just for her.
-Her best friend is Ivy Brown, Charlie Brown and Heather's kid.
-She thinks Ivy is the coolest person the planet despite the two being polar opposites.
-She wants to be a cosmetologist and usually does her mom's hair and makeup before Lucy has to go to an event.
-Lucy's the only person she will do that for for free though, everyone else has to pay up.
-She is four years older than her sister and allegedly, according to her parents, she hated the idea of her little sister until she was born.
-After that she was obsessed with her and insisted that she stay in Becca's room to make sure she was safe. Her parents tried to explain that Becca was going o cry a lot and Shana wouldn't sleep well but she refused to leave.
-She's still super protective of Becca.
And now onto my girl, Lili Becca Felton van Pelt
Age: 14
Eye color: Brown(though originally she had heterochemia because i couldn't choose between green and blue for her eyes)
Personality: Do y'all remember how feral Lucy was as a kid? Yeah well that's Becca on a good day. On a bad day, she's Schroeder level grouchy. She can be fussy and easily irritable like Lucy but overall, she acts like Lucy did in the early days of the comic just more mature.
Facts about her:
-Named after Lili Kraus, a female pianist Schroeder liked who also had an L name so they could keep the van Pelt tradition.
-She goes by her middle name to match with her sister.
-She's not a daddy's girl or momma's girl.
-She loves listening to Lucy rant, like a lot. She finds it wildly entertaining because despite maturing, Lucy still can get mad a little things. She also likes to hear Lucy talk about psychiatry things.
-She adores playing the piano with Schroeder, she inherited his talent when it comes to the piano.
-Her earliest memory was being on Schroeder's lap, with his hands over hers as he tought her piano scales for the first time.
-Becca is super close to Linus, and loves to bake with him.(this is from my hadcannon that Linus becomes a baker)
-In fact she wants to become a baker herself, it's her dream to one day take over Linus' bakery.
-She also received stuff from the Great Pumpkin until she was nine.
-But unlike Shana, she never fully believed in the Great Pumpkin. She mostly pretended to believe because it made Linus happy.
-Her best friend is Aly Reichardt Peppermint Patty and Marcy’s kid.
-She’s usually the trouble maker when it comes to the two of them.
-Becca is very close with Shana but she does wish her older sister wasn’t as protective as she is. It can get stifling and she can never do anything fun when Shana starts ranting about the dangers of whatever she wants to do.
