Pear Project Day 7: Bosc Pear

Overall Rating: 7.75/10

Appearance: A beautiful slender pear with a brown, earthy tone. It is truly a beautiful pear.

Price: A good bargain for a pear. It is priced reasonably.

Taste: This pear had a sandy, rough texture. However, this is not a bad thing. It's rough texture was a good offset compared to other soft pears. It was a very nice taste.

Distinctions: Bruised easily, although hard to tell due to it's colour. Definitely the roughest pear in terms of texture, and most beautiful in terms of aesthetics.

Pear Project Day 6: Red Pear

Overall Rating: 7/10

Appearance: A rich red pear. Its colour mimics that of a pomegranate.

Price: Standard pricing, although leaning towards the expensive side.

Taste: This pear was richer than the other pears had been. Its juicy richness was lovely, although it wasn't as tart as the Comice pear.

Distinctions: The rich red sets it apart from others. Also, it is definitely the juiciest of the pears.

Pear Project Day 5: Forelle Pear

Overall Rating: 4/10

Appearance: The tiniest pear! Less than half the size of the other pears, I'd say.

Price: Standard pricing, considering it's size. About 85 cents per pear.

Taste: The taste of this pear was a little bit starchier than the rest of the pears. This deep starchy taste cause the pear to taste a little... putrid.

Distinctions: It's small size is definitely a distinction for this pear, there's not much to eat on it!

Pear Project Day 3: Apple Pear

Overall Rating: 4.5/10

Appearance: The fattest of the pears... Looked cute and appetizing

Price: Extremely expensive! Upwards of two dollars PER pear!

Taste: Like the name may imply, this pear almost tastes exactly like an apple. Its flavour is diluted, however, and the taste was very subtle and watery.

Distinctions: Most like an apple when compared to other pears!
