there are only like. four that i seriously entertain in my mind palace but all of them are so fun
hearson. i just think they’re neat!!! they’re both writers, they’re both perceived as slightly nicer than they were in canon and both of them are a bit morbid about the walk. pearson with his pennies and harkness making guesses on who will go next and talking about marketability, additionally harkness is a talker and pearson is up front enough in his communication that it wouldn’t be a problem for them. and they both wear glasses !!!
pearssler. @/mexicancat-girl wrote a reallyyyyy good fic about them and it clicked for me!!! they would be so sweet. they’d be so endeared by each other and i like to think they talked at least once before pearson died. and i think as two disabled black members of the walk there’s some solidarity there that i like to chew on in relation to worldbuilding.(pearson’s asthmatic and i think in the script at least tressler’s implied to be mute or deaf) i return to that fic Often.
pearlson!!! i think they would have a lot of fun torturing ray garraty together ♥️ they’d just be so funny!!! they’d have so much fun!!! they both studied the rule book A Lot!!!! and there’s the dynamic of olson really liking pearson but being disturbed by how detached he allows himself to be on the walk by the usage of his pennies to keep count. so he’s wrestling with a lot of feelings!!! i have a genderbent drabble i’m planning that will hopefully be on time for rarepair week!!!!
pearbraham!!! because in september there was this really good fan artist and i had no choice they were so fun. their book banter is great. “you wouldn’t be doubting my grandfather’s word, would you?” “heaven forbid.” they’re so fun!!!!!
