Canon secret? Well! I had a huuuge crush on Scott in Double Life. I was down BAD. It might have been one of the reasons it hurt so much when he chose Cleo. ‘Course, I never told him - or anyone - about my crush, he’s gay, he’d never like me back that way, it would just be awful embarrassing for everyone involved…. But, still. Even if he’ll never reciprocate… I love you, Scott. I think I always have. I think I always will.

I love love LOVE Phantasy Star Online New Genesis. I love running around in a character I've tried to make look as much like me as possible (which was surprisingly very hard) and being able to fight with a spear again. The game is also very pretty, especially for an MMO. - Pearl fictive #⚪

I’m getting HUGE kin feels for Garnet, like she just FEELS LIKE ME. Everytime shes on screen I’m like “THATS ME. ME RIGHT THERE!!” I might be her, but I haven’t even finished watching the first season. I’m gonna eventually figure this out.. I also think our sys has already split Pearl and a few others.

From our knowledge, at least one of our Pearls was close with White Diamond at some point, and had explained how she came from Gold and Silver, and that she wasn't always the way she was. She arose to the occasion, which inspired her to find others like her, and eventually ending up with, well.. Rose. Our beloved Pink, Pink Diamond. White mentioned that she was all colors, able to take everything in, be everything, and that was her flaw that unintentionally put everyone away from her, unable to be understood.. already believing they are understood because she herself felt like everything was already understood, but especially moreso for Pink.. especially now knowing that pink itself (as a color) is an illusion, and "If colours were simply a naming scheme for wavelengths then pink is not one, because it is made up of more than one wavelength (it's actually a mix of red and purple light). If you took a laser and tuned it across the visible wavelengths, from infrared through to ultraviolet, you would not pass pink on the way." Which is what made Pink so akin and drawn to fusion, and so unable to connect with any gem around her, or because there was no other Diamond like her. Pink gems are the only ones that could come close, but once again, they are not truly Pink, as Pink Diamond was attempted to be forced into being.. truly Pink, which doesn't exist. White could not understand her, because she was quite literally on another wavelength from Blue and Yellow, who White can see clearly, inside and out, and I believe she (Pink) was intended to be Red, but a mix of.. something got into the creation, and it was purple somehow, which made our White suspect it was possibly an Amethyst (which were originally of a different similar status on homeworld, like Jasper) and started the entire.. situation. Diamonds grow under intense pressure, from an original state of coal, and White must've seen Pink as not /completely/ finished, we suspect, which is why she was often put so far away from the rest of homeworld and treated like a child. In a sense, she might've been created to be, and yet, still outgrew that entirely. Matured like a rose, thanks to Earth.
