And we are back on the west side of Toledo!

In the second of our “two-fer” weekend, we headed back to Pearson Park.  Now the weather looked to be a bit scary as the clouds were thick overhead.  But the various weather forecasters in the area promised that we were far too north for this to be a factor.

And…they were right.  As we started our walk around the perimeter trail, the sun came out and the clouds parted.  It warmed up quite a bit and the day turned even better.  We walked the outside ‘cinder’ track and then the ‘Swamp Trail’ orange trail toward the inside.

It was a good day and a nice finish for the weekend of hikes.

As most followers will know I have a political past. Today I delivered the nicest leaflet round in Hull

Pearson Park – on the east side of the Maumee River.

It is a nice park with plenty of room for baseball, football, paddleboats, and walks.  They have an Exercise and All-purpose trail circling the property.

We walked the Red Exercise trail today.  It was a “small” group with fifteen people coming out.  We walked the perimeter at 3.46 miles.

So i went to the park today and was showing my cousin the ducks.

He's two and went wild chasing them. I was trying to make sure he didnt fall in the water. But it's so damn cute when he yells "PATO!"
