Sooo! It's this nifty thing to see if you passed. ,I know if works in Arizona (where I'm from) but I'm not super sure about elsewhere, so you'll have to let me know!! Anyway you'll get your authorization to test, it's a link to the Pearson Vue website (the testing people) where you'll schedule everything once you've gone through all the back ground checks, your school has sent all your info in, etc.
So say you took your test today. You get home, click that link again, try to reschedule another test date, it'll let you get as far as payment (DEFINITELY use an old credit card, just incase, NCLEX isn't cheap). From there you'll either get an error message that says "our records indicate you have recently scheduled an exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." OOOORRRR it will let you go onto the next scheduling page, or say something about incorrect payment info (if you used an old card).
If you get the "our records indicate...." You passed! Because Pearson Vue isn't going to let those who passed repay to take a test they don't need to. If you get the other message, it's possible you failed. They say it's not 100% because there's obviously never a guarantee until you get those official results. But. A friend and I took ours the same day, and did this trick, I passed and she didn't. I got the "our records indicate..." And she got an error about incorrect payment info.
