       Odd.

This young man looked like the Salamander that she knew, but he let off a different presence entirely. His trembling frame, nervous speech, everything screamed:

                                                             N O T  N A T S U

     ”Oh? Who else would I be?” Evergreen narrowed her eyes, suspicion pouring off her. She stood on her toes and jammed her face nearer to the Not-Natsu, nose to nose with him. “To hell with who you thought, I was, who are you? Some sort of imposter? Lemme tell you, you’re doing a helluva bad job at trying to pull of Natsu.”

⊰ 火の玉 ⊱ Whimpering as the woman closed in on the Fireball, Natsu's hues diverted to looking to the left, away from the fearful gaze of the brunette's. Step taken back as sweat dripped from his brow. She seemed nothing like the girl Natsu had mistaken her for: Evergreen. A nice girl who was never rife with jealousy, nor any hatred towards any living soul. An incomprehensible stutter fell from trembling lips. "I-I'm...um...I'm from another w-world. G-Gomen!" he screeched, as hands flung over his head in cower.

"Do you want to live or die?!"

{ ☂ }— “Ever——— Juvia wants to…” The bluenette stammered, her eyes wide as she realised; she didn’t know. Did she want to live or die? How was the answer not clear any more? It used to be so very clear. Back at Phantom, she merely didn’t care, for if she were to die, who would miss her? But now——?

Now she was with Fairytail. She had a family and friends and though they had rough times, they stuck together and they pulled through. And not only did she find people willing to guide her through life by their side; she found love. Such a strong emotion towards such a cold person, yet she knew she only had to thaw him to find his true self. Yet it never got that far. She managed to turn him away from her, and though their friendship and comradeship remained, she realised he would never truly love her, would he? And now, they were at wits end; they were going to die here if they weren’t careful and she hadn’t been careful at all. All that kept her fromchoosing was that one factor…and as she thought about, she understood why Ever was so passionate about getting the water mage to stand up and fight.

She had to fight because she loved, and for that reason, she had to live.

“I want to live, Ever!” Juvia cried in return and grinned up at her comrade. “Juvia lives for the ones she loves! Fairytail!”
